9Gag is about as funny as cancer these days. I used to go on there daily, but haven't done so for a long time.

The issue i'd have with this is that it would then need to funded by the government and they could in effect censor Films based on their political agenda. Studios are out to make money just like any other business, £1,000 is a drop in the ocean on most production budgets. I'd rather they pay for it than the Taxpayer.

I admire their humour and enthusiasm, but i'm not sure what this will achieve apart from trolling the BBFC. They still need to pay staff so how else are they going to classify content other than charging on a per classification basis?

I find The Guardian just as bad, if not worse these days. It's often filled with salty tears and outraged opinion pieces over whatever created a storm in a teacup on Twitter this week....more often than not involving identity politics. I know they're struggling financially right now, but you'd think their Journo's would put a bit more effort in than to just look at Twitter all day for stories. And then it's 6-10 articles all about the same thing.

I've always viewed Apple products in a similar vein to designer clothes. They are over priced for a reason.

On CC4: Make sure the user is logged off and manually delete the users profile off the server. If the user is still having trouble on a specific PC, delet the local user profile from that PC from System Properties> User Profiles.

I wanted a PS4 Pro but i begrudge shelling out money for a new PS4 so soon when i have a perfectly good original one that still works. I am defiantly interested in the Scorpio. I may defect over to Microsoft if it's reasonably priced.

I was learning drums online via Drumeo and it was something that just happened naturally after that. There's probably similar exercises that can be done on guitar that focus on timing rather than notes. The drumming exercises were four bars that you had to play in increments of 5 BPM from 60-100 BPM for 2 minutes each before moving on to the next exerscise. On my PC/ Laptop i use an Alpha Lexicon which is a simple Guitar/Mic interface. It's simple and it does the job so i'm happy with it. I use Guitar Rig 5 for GFX which is awesome. I use it for both Bass and Guitar playing. I have a number of GFX multi pedal boards but i don't use them these days as it's too much clutter leaving them lying around. I don't think latency is an issue these days. Most modern computers are fast enough to keep up with the audio input. Rocksmith is defiantly fun to play and it's easy to spend a couple of hours a night playing it, but it is lacking in other areas. It's more of a paint by numbers form of guitar playing so it's important not to rely on Rocksmith as a sole learning tool.

I one of the ones who cheated and just went by guitar tab. What i would recommend is to get a drum practice pad and learn some of the basics on drum beats with a metronome. I still can't read the notes on musical score, but i can pick up the tempo and where the notes are meant to land on a bar just by looking at the notation and just rely on the tab for the rest. I have a USB audio interface to run my guitar through my laptop and all of my guitar FX are now on my PC/Laptop. I also play Rocksmith 2014, which is great fun but i find it hard to commit songs to memory from using Rocksmith. It also reduces the amount of time i play guitar creatively and playing my own stuff, so i guess it's a question of what you want to get out of learning/playing guitar.

I've never liked the modern incarnation of the Cybermen much so it will be good to see the originals turn up for a change.

I had an issue on a Win8 laptop a while ago where the HDD activity was maxed out at 100% permenantly. Not sure if it's the same issue, but might be worth checking as this would obviously shorten the life span of the drive.

Zero - unless i'm paid for it. My time is worth money. The only exception to this is for personal study. I learnt my lesson in my last job. Never again.

Be prepared for a steep learning curve in the first year. There's a big jump from managing a CC4 network to a Vanilla one plus you'll have to deal with whatever legacy problems there are from how the network has been set up. It could be a potential minefield if the previous two staff members jumped ship. Also, consider getting a company in to do a network audit. Some companies will do it for free because they want to sell you stuff but the upside is that you can draw a line under any potential disasters that are highlighted in case management try to blame you for it. It will also give you an indication of where the network may need improving. I'd also recommend brushing up on your MCSA even if you don't sit the exam.

I always imagined that private industry would be more up to date with newer servers/infrastructure and that they just weren't shiny enough for schools to justify paying money for server upgrades. Is this common, or dependant on the business?

I haven't done it for a while, but two things that you want to check is that the driver has actually been applied in DISM Gui. I think there was something you have to do to before saving it. Also, you might need a different driver because you're booting into Win PE rather than Win 7. Sorry that i'm not much more help, it was a while ago when i did this.
