  1. Yes, getting this alot. I have raised it with BTLS. We are also getting the google captcha coming up alot when the kids search then a block page after instead of the search results
  2. I've had a phonecall off Martin recently and have been given a date of the 22nd July (1sr day of our summer) for changeover. Got the webinar on 20th June. First I'd heard of it to be honest.
  3. Over 30 also. Had to google SS - history not my strong point
  4. I have 24 Cat6 points currently in my house. Living room has 8 points (2 by BT Master, 4 by TV/Sat and 2 in another corner of the room), Bedroom 1 and 2 has 6 points (2 in 3 corners of the rooms), and small bedroom 3 has 4 points. All have double sockets by them. May as well put what you can in while fresh or rewiring.
  5. Perfect... Looking for a new bag at the minute
  6. Macrium Reflect. Used a couple of times, always done the job for me - don't know about the usb bootable part though
  7. We are in the same boat. Sat waiting for new quotes to come in once MS and DfE have reached an agreement. Currently we have no active license agreement because of this as ours expired on 30th June.
  8. We only have one Netgear M4300 series 10Gbps switch which all the cabs and servers connect to.
  9. I am currently in the process of setting up our new Hyper-V hosts along with storage spaces direct and just wondered what other peoples thoughts are in regard to network setup. Each server has 2 1Gbps and 2 10Gbps NICS. Thanks
  10. I find using sconfig from the command line makes the update process a lot more bearable in 2016
  11. Yea, just renewing. Sorry should have mentioned that didn't include the base license as we already purchased previously
  12. No £1200 for the whole 5 year lease
  13. On our new photocopier lease we are paying around £1200 for 5 years PaperCut Upgrade Assurance and 5 embedded licenses
  14. Could it be something to do with the following policy as you said you use DFS shares? Allow DFS roots to be published not 100% but just a thought
  15. I'm in Lancaster and I can verify it does rain a lot. Never enough snow to stick either when it does try.
  16. When we upgraded to SSDs we also had to apply the policy 'Specify startup policy processing wait time'. We set ours to 15 seconds and this seemed to sort group policy errors when using SSDs for us. Funnily enough the policy default is 30 seconds, but that result worked for us. The policy is found in the Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - System - Group Policy
  17. I believe MS recommend staying with 32bit. Also i think Sims is only supported with 32bit. 64bit is not essential in my opinion. https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Choose-between-the-64-bit-or-32-bit-version-of-Office-2dee7807-8f95-4d0c-b5fe-6c6f49b8d261#32or64Bit=2016
  18. Just had a call back from BTLS. They have moved over to a backup system which seems to be working for us. They are working with lightspeed for a fix on this issue regarding notifications on future failures so that they can act a lot quicker at resolving any issues.
  19. Call logged here too, not acceptable really!
  20. We are in the same boat looking at upgrading old switch hardware. We are HP at the moment but the quotes for new have come in over twice that of other vendors. We have been recommended the Netgear M4300 series by 2 of our suppliers. Anybody use Netgear?
  21. What Is the minimum just for cloud drive mapper?
  22. We had the issue too, I logged a call with them around 12 after we caught students on facebook. All sorted now
