Fixed it was a simple run of netsh winhttp reset proxy

Can't ping it is blocked by the filter but dont dns flush ect. still not working it really usual. Thanks James

Hi wondering If someone could help me, Got 3 machines all in science with both ie11 and google chrome and windows 7 sp1. All take ages for pages to load it like for example Moodle (Bowland High) has a hyper linked whisper image. That won't load the image or will take minutes. It really weird I have change switches and still the same problem, and have machines on the same corridor working find ... Just science... Check software nothing out of the ordinary ... What do people think? Thanks James

Just called about a warning which says Im running Flash player 1 !!!! (was 13 ... ) and they asked me to downgrade to Flash player 9.5. I said thats not acceptable as the machines are in our main ICT suite !!! Not impressed which wing it with Flash 14 !!!

Just a quick one, what a peoples plans for Moodle? Early indications are that assessment based quizzes won't transfer over to MyBigCampus, which will be a huge problem for us. I'm currently looking to move over to a 3rd party and have been out to 3 companies with the price of about £1000 pa. I'm planning to take part in the MyBigCampus pilot too, but that is a little behind schedule. How is it going for others? James

Lots of HMRC and Paypal ones and UPS, Sophos blocks most of them but on mobile devices and home machines it is a worry. I send each one to connect2education, hopefully when Office 365 comes this won't be a problem.

We will get the odd things that will be blocked, but overall I believe it is a better system. The main problem has been changing all the proxy setting. Mine came into close 20 different systems and still learning of new ones like Lexia Learningtoday.

Well I'm phase 2 and compelte my change over did have to enable automatically detect settings in IE to ,make it work with our local Eclipse.net (Web page with Sliverlight, SQL based with automatic AD logon)

The transparent proxy is great, I've had to change many apps that used it but in the long-term it will make everything much easier :-)
