Well you could set-up as I have with putting my Terminal Server on my Admin range and asking for that to be unblocked, and then create a Remote app on the desktop to a "Unfiltered Internet Connection". It works great, and as the teachers use the terminal server in the Mac Suite too this works well, We have Youtube unblocked but this does need to change to Youtube for Education ... We still get the odd video which is inappropriate.

We have a number of these which need replacing I have a choice of a "Promethean PRM-35 DLP Short Throw Projector 2500 Lumines - Promethean Planet or a InFocus IN124ST projector 3000 Lumines" - InFocus IN124ST Projector | InFocus what do I go for, been told that InFocus is very budget but the Promethean rebrand but of what ? Any Ideas? Thanks

Well the pricing is very good for us, I am happy with it and I just hope that they will do there best to release the pricing way when promised next year

If you are having any issues with SGD after the most recent update - Version 7 Update 51. The only way around this is to turn down the Java security settings, I advise you do this only when using Remote Access and to revert back to the original (High) settings once finished. If you are using Internet Explorer 10 or above you will still need to make sure that compatibility mode is enabled. To change the Java security settings go to Start Button– All Programs – Java – Configure Java Then go to the Security Tab and Change this to Medium. Click apply and OK. Then close down Internet Explorer and reopen it and then you should be able to login. I have tested this myself with Internet Explorer 8,9,10 and 11 and this seems to work.

go to update manager - then software subscriptions - right click view edit , then change windows 2000 and above to 10.2 recommended. It fixed mine.

Please don't laugh but we used this software loads, but I am getting issues on Windows 7 Pro 32-Bit with display problems with layers and shapes. I've tried compatibility mode for xp, disable visual themes, disable desktop composite. Any ideas or is it time to move on, I don't want to xp mode ideally. It was made almost 10 years ago 2004 :-( Thanks James
