I have started to give parents the SMHW support telephone number off their website. I am so fed up with parents complaining about something that I had no input into at all.

Help please Can anyone help please. I have been asked to set up a whole load of supply teacher accounts on SMHW. We use SIMS to pull through the teachers. I have spoken to their support and they are as helpful as a chocolate fire guard. The issue I am having is as the supply staff are not members of staff SHMW have said just give the supply account teacher rights not user rights. I have done this, giving them the same access rights as a normal teacher. It is still not being pulled through from SIMS. Has anyone set up dedicated supply accounts on this website using SIMS. According to their support this is done by loads of schools. however every time I go back to them I get no help in setting this up or even documentation on how to achieve this.

Can i ask you what issues you are having with new users

Anyone having issues with their website. our school has just launched this to 1200 students and its not working students can login from home but their support says its the school network. "did not know i was providing broadband at home for the students as well" We are using Office 365 integration.

Can anyone answer this question for me. Does SMHW usually ask users who are having difficulty log on using office 365 to give them their password to their email account. Or is this just a lapse by a helpdesk technician?

Does anyone use SSO with this product? If so can you tell me how they have set it up. they want us to make our DC public?? Be interesting to hear how they have set it up

Afternoon all Urgent request for information I know lighting is not our bag. but if anyone can help it would be appreciated. My site manager has asked if any school out there has came across this company offering LED retrofit Lighting. And if so have you used them and if so have you had any problems with the retrofit lights. Drop me an PM or reply he.

Update on this issue Lancashire County Council legal department have said its against the law. That will be me telling the school is a resounding no to that plan. Looks like the other schools in flyde she works with are breaking the law by giving her a SIMS acoount

Good Morning Has anyone had to give the PSCO that works with the school Access to SIMS. Apparently the other schools that this PSCO works with have given her access. Any thoughts as to Why?

We found that if its a new chrome book straight from the suppliers once you get it connected on to the internet you will need to update it to the latest version. As it may have been produced up to a year before it was sold so will need up dating before it works correctly hope that makes sense. You can do this by login on as a guest and them updating

Good Morning Does anyone use this Company LCR from Blackpool. To cut a long story short there is a problem with there system but according to them its the school network. does anyone out there have the same problem or had problems in the past with this company. from what I can gather they don't have very many staff that's why they wont do any think to solve the problem we are having. for clarity we have had the network tested with a fluke and no problems were identified.

Morning ALL I am wondering if any one has dealt with a situation that has arises here before where teachers and college staff are removing behaviour points or turning them into observations so that they don't count and make the college look bad. Is there away of only allowing the teacher who has put on the behaviour point to remove it but still allow the other staff to add but not take away if that makes sense. Any suggestions are welcome.

Good Morning Does any one out there in CLEO land have the above SIMS file used in conjunction with personnel on SIMS that they could let me have. BTLancashire SIMS support will not give me this file as I don't get my support from them. However it will take hours to manually input this info into SIMS Any help will be appreciated
