Ditto, I don't suppose there is a way to alter the formula you provided me to return 'NO RESULTS' when the search cannot find an order number throughout the spreadsheet? The formula (slightly edited from what you provided) is currently this: =@INDEX($A$3:$E$3,SUMPRODUCT(MAX(($A$4:$E$200=B2)*(COLUMN($A$4:$E$200))))-COLUMN($A$1)+1) Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've got multiple spreadsheets for tracking various different departments budgets. Each of these spreadsheets have a column for our internal Purchase Order Number. When our finance officer wants me to look up an order number, I often can't remember what order number went into which department's spreadsheet - as such, I need to open each spreadsheet and run a CTRL + F on each individual spreadsheet until I find it. In order to save time, I made another spreadsheet purely for tracking each order number for each department. The spreadsheet has a table - below is an example. For example, the first Order Number of the Media column would have a reference of [b]=('[Media - Budget & Orders.xlsx]Admin'!A2)[/b] This all works fine, and the spreadsheet does exactly what I want it to. With this, my method of saving time, when asked for a reference number and which department it belongs to, was to open this spreadsheet and press CTRL + F (Find and Replace) then search for the Order Number. The problem is that this doesn't work. If I search for 'PO-001', no results are found, despite A2 clearly having a value of what I searched for. The cells data of 'PO-001' is brought in via the reference above - if I search for the reference of [b]=('[Media - Budget & Orders.xlsx]Admin'!A2)[/b] it brings me to the correct cell and value, but clearly this won't work for what I'm wanting to do. Is there a way to make this work? Is there an easier way?

Thanks very much for the quick & detailed responses. You’ve all given me a lot to think about! I had set the Windows Server DNS lookups for the Mac Server’s static IP address and name it should resolve to. AntonioRocco, your suggestion got me looking in the right place - turns out I had simply named the Mac Server host name as “school-mac-server.local” when it needed “school-mac-server.[windows domain name here]” – Thank you! DeployStudio is what we had installed to the old Mac Server, I had only ever used it once but it seemed to work very nicely – I’ll look into this again for the new Mac Server. Failing that, I was also going to look into Clonezilla. After reading all your comments I feel the combination of Profile Manager, Open Directory & binding the Mac clients to our Windows AD Servers may give me some grief – is there anything that trips people up that I should look out for? Next week, I’ll try and get to the stage where I can log into a Mac Client as a student user & have my access restricted via Profile Manager – I’ll keep this thread updated with my progress / woes! Hi all, Around 4 years ago we purchased a Mac solution from a third-party which consisted of 16 iMac clients & a Mac Mini as a Server. These were setup by the third-party and a mac-savvy colleague who no longer works at our school. The Macs were bound to our Windows Server Active Directory so that the students could log in with their normal credentials. This solution has worked perfectly fine for the past 4 years up until recently – our mac server has been showing signs of dying and becoming unreliable. Our colleague who was skilled with Macs left around 2 years ago and it had been the intention of myself and our Network Manager to train ourselves to compensate for this drop in a vital skill-set, though because of time / budget / 1million other things to do, this unfortunately never happened. We currently have a support contract that is unable to help us because the Operating System that is running on the Server is too old (Mountain Lion). With the summer holiday coming up, we have decided to abandon the current Mac Server which was configured by a third-party and completely re-do our Mac Network ourselves. Fortunately, we inherited a decently specced iMac that we can use as a new server. Our goal is to run a Mac solution that we fully understand and are familiar with. Our goals for this project can be encapsulated by these 3 bullet points; Upgrade the inherited iMac to the latest Operating System, install MacOS Server and have this replace our old Mac Server. We would configure all the basics as needed then we will be primarily looking at Open Directory & Profile Manager. Create an image of a Client iMac after it’s had an Operating System upgrade as well as all the software that students require. It will also be bound to our AD Server, same as before, so that students are able to log in with their network credentials. I want to ensure that this client can be fully controlled by the Server Mac. This image will then be deployed to all the client iMacs Have a reliable backup system (most likely Time Machine) Our skills are predominately with Windows systems though we hope that seeing this project through, with the acknowledgement it may be a bumpy journey, will be greatly rewarding. I would be extremely grateful to anyone willing to help in what I would see as a “Help the noob” style thread. I will (and have already started) going through the process of setting up the Mac Server & all the clients over these next couple of weeks (over Summer) and will get stuck from time to time – when this happens I’d love for this thread to be my go-to place should a portion of googling not resolve the issue. I am currently at the stage where I have upgraded the New iMac server to the latest version of Sierra and installed MacOS Server. I have set a static IP address and given it a Host Name and have tried to create a new Open Directory domain, but I am met with the following error when trying to create a Directory Administrator; "This computer's host name is invalid. The host name does not resolve to any configured address of this computer. Please ensure the host name is correct." Google-fu hasn't helped me with this one so far -- does anyone have any ideas for this? Thanks for reading. Kind regards, Nick

Hi all, Figured it out. For the NUC I was referring to in my earlier posts the issue wasn't with the Driver (The driver was up to date and configured properly) but was the Fast Startup option in Power Options. I had disabled the Fast Boot option in the BIOS but did not in Windows 10. After disabling Fast Boot in the Power Options the NUC successfully Woke with a Magic Packet. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2776718 -- For those interested, this Microsoft kb article gives the steps for disabling Fast Startup as well as some information on the behaviour with WOL in Windows 7 compared to Windows 8, 8.1 & 10. The Dell Optiplex 390 machines I mentioned in my first post still had the issue of Dell not developing Windows 10 LAN drivers for the device. Following Mic_Impero's advice I searched for Realtek D-Link drivers specifically for Windows 10 and sure enough came across exactly what I needed. Installing these drivers fixed the issue without having to change the above mentioned Power Option's Fast Startup (I checked out of interest and it was enabled -- didn't seem to effect the WOL) The Realtek drivers I got are from this website --> Realtek After succeeding with testing the driver on one of the stations I plan to deploy this driver across the rest of the Dell Optiplex 390 fleet thus bringing WOL back to normality! Hi Oaktech, That's one of the first things I did after installing the up to date drivers on the NUC I was referring to in my last post. As soon as I installed the driver I checked all the properties and power management settings and enabled everything that would normally make WOL work. I haven't tried disabling the link speed & power management features - I will give this a shot and report back. Thanks, Nick

I've tried testing this on a Intel NUC D54250WYKH built as Windows 10 with the most recent LAN Drivers from Intel (Drivers last updated on 29/4/16 -- they can be found here; https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25966/Intel-Gigabit-Network-Connection-Driver-for-Intel-NUC?v=t) Still no good. I've checked the Intel NUC's BIOS to ensure WOL is enabled and FastBoot is disabled. Mic, perhaps a daft question, but where can I find these drivers? I realise this may depend on the manufacturer but any advise to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Nick

Hi all, Thanks very much for the prompt responses. Looking further into this it appears that it doesn't matter what workstation I build as Windows 10 (Got some Ergo machines & RM 3040's which I built as Windows 10 - both of which refuse to wake on lan with Impero) The drivers for the OptiPlex 390 machines does seem to be a problem in its own right - the OptiPlex 390 section on Dell's (Product Support | Dell US) website says the following; "Product not tested for Windows 10 upgrade. Dell is not testing or developing Windows 10 drivers for this product. If you choose to upgrade, some features, application, and connected devices may not work as expected" I'll have to investigate this, but I'm thinking it may not be the cause of the issue as other machines are doing the same thing. I'll look for driver updates for the other machines and see if I have any luck with them! Steve, this may be a simple question, where can I find this feature? I'd like to check this one. Is there anything else I could try? I have a feeling this is one of those things that simply knowing where a certain [ON/OFF] switch is would fix! Hi all, We have recently upgraded an IT suite to Windows 10. Prevously, as Windows 7, these machines successfully woke on Lan. However, as Windows 10 this is no longer happening. All of our workstation machines are set to wake on Lan using Impero's Advanced Policy System on port 7. The machines are Dell Optiplex 390, Intel i5 2400 3.10GHz 4GB RAM These are the things I have tried so far; - Checked the BIOS Settings of a Dell Optiplex 390 that is Windows 7 - the BIOS settings for the Windows 7 machine is exactly the same as the Windows 10 machine. - Changed Impero's Wake of Lan port number from 7 to 9 (nine is the default number for Impero's Wake on Lan) - in "Change Adapter Settings" --> Right-click & Properties --> Configure --> Power Management --> I made sure that "Allow this device to wake the computer" & "Only allow a magic packet to wake the computer" were checked. (I also tried it with magic packet disabled) - In the Advanced tab instead of the above's Power Management Tab I checked that "Wake on Magic Packet" was enabled Am I missing something obvious? I'm not sure what else I can check. I hope I've made this clear and easy to understand - if needed I can provide more information on anything requested. anyone got any ideas? Thanks very much, Nick

Hello all, I installed Windows 7 Pro 32bit onto a laptop been told the data was not needed. The method of installation I used was "Custom" (See attached photo). Turns out this was not the case and the data was in fact needed and I never did a backup of the files. I have made no other changes to the laptop aside from installing it's OS. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can recover that data or have I lost it for good? I am willing to throw some cash at the solution. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
