do a AD dump of the users and in excel use the concanate function to create script that copys the files to the location, drag it down the spreadsheet and copy the contents into notepad and save as batch file. This is how I copy files etc to my student users copy c:\year2photos\*.* "Y:\username\Documents\My PICTURES"

Hi, I give all students the same desktop via folder redirection but disable write access on the share. Works for me.

Hi Guys Has anyone moved staff shares over to Google Cloud? If so do you have the app installed on the local workstation? Does it kill the PC and internet connection when it first trys to sync the Cloud copy to the local PC and does it bloat out the roaming profile? Thanks

Here that would involve getting staff to install VPN software on their home machines and giving them instructions whereas with a hosted solution they pop to a website and logon - bobs your uncle.

its not really a problem, I see it as a easy way to give staff access to SIMS/FMS from home without going down the SLG approach.

Primary, I wasn't aware there are two options. I think its the Azure one.

Is anyone using SIMS hosted solution? I would be interested in your experiences in terms of speed etc is it better than the SLG hosted solution?. Thanks

So in the end I bought a new Tamron 70-200 f2.8 from my local camera shop who were surprisingly competitive on price and offered me a better p/x on an existing lens than MPB. I will be using them again for sure.

Hi Guys, I'm trying to setup email to print through Papercut. Everything seems to be in working order but when you release the job from the Riso nothing happens. The error in the application log is: Error redirecting job to 'danserver\RISO ComColor 7150 see print-provider.log for details. Cancelling print job. In the print provider log the error reads: 2015-09-11 14:25:54,577 ERROR: Failed to redirect job to printer (StartDocPrinter). JobId: 153, Datatype: NT EMF 1.008, Printer: \\danserver\RISO ComColor 7150 - The specified datatype is invalid. all 50 laptops now have SSD's and workstations get them as they fail. Next year everything will be SSD (apart from servers)

Are they smart TV's if so they may have performed a software update automatically and maybe the software is buggy. You can role them back by downloading the previous software from LG's website

Hey Guys, I really want/need a 70-200 f2.8 lens. I'm a nikon man but really can't stretch to the Nikon lens so after reading various reviews I am going to go for the Tamron SP 70-200mm f/2.8 Di VC USD as its weather sealed and somewhat sharper than the Sigma equivalent. I see them on Ebay for £650 whereas Jessops are £929. The ebay ones are grey imports what are peoples feelings on grey imports apart from the warranty. Thanks
