Office 365 account associated with a hotmail account?
nadeem replied to Mark182's topic in Cloud Services
At a guess, they've connected their two accounts together - its in options in the mail account -
we're using Ms Azure - education pricing is very good, and now they have UK data centres too
-
Thanks for the replies - we have just allegedly been upgraded to Superfast Broadband (haha), but it appears that the two houses are connected to different cabinets and hence only one has availability! Hence my question.
-
I think it would depend on what type of educational establishment you work in - I work in a university so my students are all 18+, I would probably do things differently in a school for exmaple.

Has anyone tried to boost wifi signal from one house to another house - say around 50m away?
-
Just came onto the thread - to suggest the above - that's what we use!

I had the same problem recently - which I'd read this - I just gave up in the end! (migrating provider and wanted to do it without having to change number/SIM but couldn't work out which one it was)

IF its really important to you, then I can recommend Retrodata DATA Recovery Specialists. Retrodata – RAID and Data Recovery. Trusted solutions. - just had to use them to recover some very important data, and as usual they came up trumps (for a price!)

Paid for solutions that work (have used both) are Cloud Migrator and MigrationWiz -
We've been working with a great Citrix partner who managed to find us some innovative solutions for licensing - PM me if you want their details - they really do know what they are talking about

Yes we did set it up like this so that stapling for example worked whether you picked it up on one of our Sharp machines or one of our Ricoh machines. I have a feeling that booklets might have been trickier (and I'm sure that hole punchign was a real nuisance - but I was the only one whoever used that feature!) - I could go and test it now for you but we only had it configured that way for a few months whilst we were transitioning from our Ricoh MFDs to our Sharp MFDs. We now only have Sharp MFDs and Ricoh printers in the print queue - the few Ricoh MFDs I have left in the print queue don't do stapling/booklets etc. so I can't test with those either. Sorry to not be of more help

We use our mifare based cards for: Access Control Cashless Catering Follow You Printing/Photcopying Attendance Monitoring Library Cards (and then also print on them to make them photo ID cards)
-
We have it set up as you want - one print queue, user collects from whatever device they want. We used originally the Ricoh universal driver, but I've recently changed it to a Sharp driver (our Sharp machines are newer, and I'm phasing out the Ricoh MFDs). Obviously it still fails when people try and do things like pick up a staple job from a printer rather than an MFD (prints without stapling!). We also have a small number of HP kit that is connected as well.
-
We use Equitrac and it supports multiple brands of printers (we have a mixed Sharp/Ricoh estate)
-
We've used this in the past - does the job well

I think I've had related issues with Android phones, I sometimes find that I have to do the initial setup whilst connected via mobile (3g) data rather than via wifi - have you tried that?
-
Have filled in for you also nice to see Office Forms being used - seems a cleaner interface than google forms
-
Let me check if we have that model here

It's one of the things I always tell my students to do (though I tell them to preface the folder/file name with 00 so that it sorts to the top)
-
I think you want this EasyMoza.com - Free Online Photo Mosaic Creator.

We're just about to start using Nervepoint (there is a free version too) that lets you do this (and preload the answers to the questions to)

Our reseller charged us a penny per licence too (Misco) but then just issued a credit note to match -
As so many people have replied positively about Sharp, I thought I'd post the contact details of my account director (I've asked him!) - do just mention my name when you speak to him please. I can highly recommend Sharp Business (who ironically in a previous incarnation of company, sold us all my old Ricoh devices!) - support is excellent, as was pricing! I'm having my last 8 old Ricoh's taken away on Thursday and replacing with 4 Sharps. Ping me if you need the number of someone to speak to.
