Yes really, Microsoft Advanced logging recorded it deleting these registry entries, don't ask me why it is doing that! I went on to uninstall Senso from one of the Machine and since doing that it been fine ever since.
-
Another thing that Senso broke recently which I've flagged up in case anyone use it, is Intune Kiosk mode. Senso been delete the AutoAdminLogon and AutoLogonCount setting in the registry.

Support informed me of this, and looking at our computers it does seem to be the case that this has been resolved.

Looks likes the fix for SSL issues will be out today.

V2 should have been released as a pilot to a select group first. The number of unfinished modules and issues is concerning. If it weren’t for the bugs, it has the potential to be a much better product. I suspect that once all these bugs are properly ironed out—rather than rushing fixes that end up breaking other things—it could really shine.

Funnily I was just about report this here as I've been investigating this over the last few days! It not a new client issue as we been on that version for a while, the issue is with an update network filtering module they pushed out on the 6th! We only ever had filtering enabled for students, now all devices have SSL intercept enabled and all existing policies for this is being ignored which would include excluding specific SSL!

Should be part of: Network Cloud Enterprise Cloud

Policy name is "End Session", this is set under Policies under the group you want this for.

Ahh, so I’m not alone with the list of issues here. To add to it: Wake-on-LAN (WOL) is still not working. It was meant to be fixed and ready by Monday this week. Scheduled shutdown is working, except it currently ignores the setting to apply or not apply to logged-in users.

Hi We unable to get schedule task working in Senso 2.0 anyone else having similar issues? Thanks Darren
-
We did that thankfully before this update. A previous update broken the menus on a small number of our Gen 1 requiring them to be factory wiped, we didn't want a repeat of that during term time.

This has affected a number of schools with the GX gen1.

Query/question - Public interest

I'm not sure how this would come under a public task, school take photo of student for safeguarding reason etc. Staff Photo might be taken for ID Purposes, beyond that consent is likely required. -

You need to install Redistributable Package (Visual C++) if not already installed. https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe -
Hi Think the following guide below might point you in the right direction. it's been sometime since I've last worked with MPIO, but looking at your photo on DR2 you seem to have not added IBM 1746 as it not showing as listed under MPIO devices. https://www.itpromentor.com/hvc-mpio-storage/ https://kb.promise.com/thread/enabling-multipathing-mpio-on-windows-server-2019/

Sims slow load excruciating across three different schools
dfergusson replied to johnpd's topic in MIS Systems
Yes, it wasn't just affecting Sims, we had reports of slowness with Emails, Printing, OneDrive and main one for me was my local copy of Hyper-V on my desktop the VMs were unresponsive or sluggish. I worked with Senso support yesterday looking at the issue at large, I had been keeping eye on here in case anyone was reporting similar issues, I feel bad for not posting something sooner about this. -

Do any of you happen to be using Senso by any chance? They did a module update on Tuesday that unfortunately caused some local network issues, one of them being very slow Sims. Not sure if they rolled update out last night to fix this but if you still having issue this morning, you can look at link below to fix this until they released update. https://support.senso.cloud/support/solutions/articles/79000142354-windows-how-to-disable-network-filtering-in-senso -
I wouldn't worry too much about overclocking these days, it makes little difference for gaming. What your budget? If you are looking for gaming PC and your budget can stretch, I would look at AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D AMD have new processors out soon so you might be able to get some nice deals on their older processors if you can wait a little longer.

We came across a similar issue to this that was affecting a few users here. Turn out they had an old personal Microsoft account that was set up using the same email address as their school account. Once their school email was removed from their personal Microsoft account, this fixed the sign-in issue with OneDrive.

This has been fixed in 97.0.1072.62

We using Papercut, the main thing is to ensure that all printers are using the same printer driver type, you are unable to mix type3 and type4 with Find-Me Printing.
-
Yes, that is what we did, we added the universal type 4 drivers directly to the client then add a temporary step to remove any existing printers so that when printers were reapplied on login they would pick up the new drivers. I got the following from an article online that explains the change of driver deployment for Type 4. "Starting with V4 drivers the distribution model on the print server was changed. If the user connects to a V4 shared printer queue, the corresponding V4 driver from the local driver store on the client is installed or downloaded from Windows update. If no driver is available, the so called “Microsoft enhanced “Point and Print driver” is used"
-
We are using Universal Type 4 drivers, but have also pushed these drivers out to the clients so they get the enhanced printing options.

Hi all, Hope someone can help me, we currently testing OneDrive with /allusers switch, and so far most thing are working fine. One issue we found is when first log into computer, we get OneDrive and a "OneDrive - Organisation" created. I'm trying to get ride of this extra OneDrive that keeps being creating on first login. The only way we managed to stop this is by enabling "prevent the usage of OneDrive for file storage" under Computer Configuration, Windows Components, OneDrive. Although I feel this is not right solution to this, does anyone have idea to this? Thanks
