  1. Searching for open networks and noting them down is certainly legal, if they are public then.. they are public. It's only when you go around pentesting public networks that people get a bit edgy and rightly so.
  2. You mean Bloodsouls.. or Darkborne. Nothing in that list really excites me except for GTA V on PC and maybe Oddworld for nostalgia.
  3. Seems a bit overkill and corporation-y, I'll stick with Cerberus.
  4. There's nothing more gripping than further widening the social gap between the west and east. Dracula Untold: story was a bit all over the place but it gets points from me for depicting cool vampires.
  5. Ooo that's pretty, nice view in the background too!
  6. Mini DayZ
  7. I'm probably the same age as @abillybob so this thread has really helped me too - I've been in a stable job for a while and I've been with my partner for years, she isn't a fan of renting but I always thought it'd be be better to start off that way so my opinion is kinda set in stone now.
  8. I would assume the plans are already in the works - once that vampiric cesspit of a company sinks their teeth into something they can sell at a premium they don't let go of it.
  9. Have they changed the layout since the last time I used this or is it a new website? I remember going on a website like this back in college and it looked like a sampler pad.
  10. Yes, there's a freeze button on the Clevertouch remote that does this - exactly the same as older interactive boards.
  11. Anyone here using the VeryPC classmate netbooks in an educational environment? While I certainly don't doubt the excellent service and support from @VeryPC I'm a little apprehensive about the processor only being a dual-core celeron when most netbooks these days are running i3/i5s (our old netbooks are i3 in fact). I'd pop an SSD in so they'd be a bit nippier and I like the design/handles etc but still.. I'm asking for reviews of the netbook itself, not of Very-PC! I know how awesome those guys are.

  12. 50 Shades of Abuse, but hey I guess that's what girls are into.. right?!
  13. I've only really skimmed the thread but this statement stood out, so I'll throw this spanner in the works: smoking damages cells in your lungs, that's a fact - second hand smoke has the same effect. Now it only takes one damaged cell to allow cancer to grow in your lungs.. if you're in perfect condition after being raised inhaling secondhand smoke (you mentioned you smoke so this isn't true, but for the sake of argument let's pretend you don't smoke), then you are very lucky in my opinion - not everyone is as lucky.
  14. Idea duly noted!
  15. Work address or home address?
  16. You've reach iTechCare - a genius will be with you shortly after you pay the initial support fee of £500.00.
  17. Rest in pepperonis.
  18. That's a 2 seater max IMO! though I do like my space..
  19. I'd be surprised if the Bootstrap CDN and/or Google caused problems, plus it'd be stored in cache. OP: try deleting your browser cache and clearing the DNS, what version of Internet Explorer isn't running it correctly?
  20. My first gym experience was pretty good - 40 minutes on the treadmill changing speed every 5 minutes and then 20 minutes rowing after. I feel quite good today, think my lengthy warmup/cooldown did the job! I'll probably go twice a week doing that for a few months.
  21. We moved from CC4 to a vanilla network with virtual servers, it was definitely a good choice! We had some problems here and there because of the company that initially set things up (we decided against doing it ourselves), their base policies were slightly different to what we originally had so there were some problems with software etc which we had to fix. Lots of issues with Macs, but I think that's just because Macs are awful.
  22. If it's anything like the ones we have here, it's pretty easy once you take the panel off - if it's only 1gb then you've probably only got one stick though I could be wrong. It's running a dual-channel motherboard IIRC so just get another 2gb stick or get 2x2gb sticks and pop them both in. Unless you have 64-bit Windows 7 there's no need to get anymore than that.
  23. I wouldn't know as I don't use a Mac I just saw a thread with some new software in it.
  24. Teachers actually monitoring what the kids are doing? that'll be the day! That's why I don't like the idea of BYOD, I've done enough stuff on my phone when I was younger and on my school/college networks to know that unless there's some REALLY good MDM solution, it's a bad idea (and there isn't a really good MDM solution afaik).
  25. Ohh this looks quite intere- wait mac only? F dat!
