Hey, I recently set up Moodle for our school and I had problems during the inital web page set up- I was getting a LOT of 404 error. I managed to configure it after countless server reboots.. Now that moodle is configured.. but it's 404 -.- I have never done moodle and I am a begginer on linux (I am using ubuntu 14.0.4.1 no gui). The file configuration is fine because it let me create everything. Why am I getting 404 so often? I know what 404 is not found but... I am lost. Halp.. Thanks Edit: After server reboot, it works for a minute then 404's.

Yep :/ GTA V will be out January next year...

I've seen the trailer for it, looks amazing. I will try to get some game play, if I like it- I'll definitely buy it.

You need to watch this before buying, honestly.

So I plug in the fan end to the fan connector on the fanmate, but how do i power up the actual unit? Can I just use a 12v power adapter? My motherboard fan connector broke off.
-
Hey, I have recently fixed my PS3 with a "fan mod"- it is plugged directly into the mains via an 10v 1a adapter. The fan goes at 80-90% speed ALL the time- it does not bother me as much since I just put closed ear headphones on. However, if there is someone else in the room... Well.. You can see where this is going. My question- is there a way of reducing the voltage in a variable fashion? I am looking at something like a variable resistor but I am crap at picking the right one. Am I even on the corrent path here? The fan has 3 wires, so does the variable resistor- I just have the fan hooked up with 10v and GRD. Attached a picture. Don't slag me off, electronics isn't my best side. Thanks

This is fcuking bullcrap from Ubisoft! How can they release an unfinished game? I mean- look at Batman Arkham Origins- wide open spaces and everything is silky smooth. Let me know how you get on- what computer specs have you got?

Has anyone tried Assassins Creed Unity on PC yet? People say it has got stupid hardware requirements and it's badly optisimed. I want to get it but I'm not paying for a broken game.. Any experience with it?

I have found the problem- I made a setting for IE8 at some point and then after finding out that it isnt working, I deleted it. The IE8 browsers got the setting but sort of stuck with it- after updating to IE9, 10 or 11 the problem stopped. Thank god and you guys

This page is blank- no options there :/
-
Nope, that's disabled. I didn't touch that setting so it is not the problem, I hope.

Hi, We have a problem with our GPO in which some staff can't download files.. Weird thing is- I looked everywhere for all settings that might disable downloads- they're all not configured (will allow downloads). The weird thing is that it affects only some staff, out of 60 maybe about 3-4.. What could the problem be? Sorry for being vauge, I can answer questions. Thanks

Also I am not sure if I am wasting my time here because I dont know 100% if that SAN was configured on the network, but if they used the web GUI then it must have been! :/ EDIT: It was- my current net manager used to access it but it was 5 years ago..
-
No luck :/ The SAN has got two network ports- tried them both and still no reply...
-
Thanks, I will give it a try and report back.

Got the program, not very intuitive- any help on how you get the IP?
-
I tried that already- I assigned myself the old IP and tried to ping everything on the old pool with no luck :/
-
The support guy also mentioned that I might have the J610f which does not ask for a password however, Everywhere I look it shows the E610f model. Any other way to find out an IP address of the SAN?
-
Done that already It does not prompt me for a password and has got 7 commands only of which none tells me any network info at all.

Hello, To begin with I assume you never heard of a company called "Promise"- they are from the US of A and manufacture storage devices like SANS and NASzzez. Anyway, my school has got an ancient SAN from them- probably purchased about 7-8 years ago. Our current network manager doesn't know anything about it- there lies the problem. If a disk fails we can't rebuild the array since the web interface is on the old IP range, and for the life of me I could not fish out that IP address or even a MAC. I tried to access via a serial cable and it gives me very limited options. I sent Promise an email regarding this issue and they told me that I'm using a wrong (?) serial cable! I am using a RJ11 to DB9 cable. They also told me that I need to purchase a "special" one from their website for around 12 dollars + shipping + tax + democracy charges. My question lies here: Any suggestions how I can find out the IP/MAC address of this SAN? I tried giving myself the old IP from the range and scanning all attached devices. Can they really use a "special" serial cable? Below is the cable I am using.
