  1. Looks like this issue is resolved in Creators update
  2. Windows education edition is recommended. Mdt and wds are fine to deploy Windows 10. SCCM is good if you have the budget as it helps with updates and rollout of software and other management tasks
  3. Ive had a similar issue at my site and had to set registry key EnableActiveProbing to 0 but this seems to cause issues with Wnidows Apps including the Store as they don't think they have an internet connection. Users have to end up opening a web browser first and then open the App so it knows that there is an internet connection.
  4. I've deployed this update yesterday on the advice of our SIMS support provicer using SOLUS3 but have found it has caused more issues as it tries to install both the Summer Update 2016 and this patch and fails to install. It then attempts try to reinstall on workstations and has been annoying for users as it kicks them out of SIMS. I've checked this morning and now the Patch is showing as withdrawn within the SOLUS3 console. Logged a call with the SIMS support provider and waiting for them to rectify this.
  5. I've also had alot of issues with these ECDL tests. As usual they gave me the lazy answer of 'Its something with your network'. I had the issue of the 'Processing' page when students would attempt to go to the next question. The only fix for this was to reboot the PC and resume the test. I have tried both with Java and the EnlightKS Plug-in and I still have issues. I hardly get a response from technical support. The head of ICT has phoned them up as well but they don't seem to have a clue and are not helpful at all. Ive sent them screenshots, error logs yet they fail to respond back. And to put the icing on the cake, today the students were in the middle of an exam and all of a sudden the tests all froze with a network error message. They must have been an overload on their servers. When I tried to ring their technical support I got the automated message 'we are extremly busy please email us or use the chat function'. Absolutely useless. And the worst thing is that we have 120 candidates taking these exams which count towards a GCSE.
  6. The best option is to re-create the locations and then rebuild the computers. Alternatively if you install the Station Rename tool which comes as part of CC4Update 156a this will save you the task of rebuilding your machines.
