I don't quite understand how the file system side would work on a cloud environment with shared end user devices? you cant have the onedrive sync tool downloading a users documents to every machine they use? how do you over come all the lag that would be generated? what is the point of gigabit switches when my line is only 100mb? how about all the video content.... im not anti cloud or anything but I need to see why it would be better than what we have? eg I moved from exchange to Office 365 because we had a real world benefit, I cant see this with Azure

We Just installed a Fleet of Toshibas From Kew computers. They do most of their work for schools. We always get great service from them and they do all the legwork getting papercut setup etc. If your in the south east maybe give them a call? 0844 887 0006

Hi im using VAMT 10.0.10240.0 AD Based authentication seems to be working fine with our windows 10/office2016 machines, however im not able to add the key to a normal KMS type authentication for windows 7/office 2016 under keys? I get the same error as the screen shot above. Cheers

We are also basing our windows 10 on LTSB the lack of GPO for edge and all the crapware that comes with other versions sealed the deal

Hi Im nearly ready with my Windows 10 deployment but now I have just one issue .. outlook 2016 crashes when every I try to set it up. All other office apps work great. dose any one have any advice? Cheers

Yes but for the life of me I cant remember what its called , its from Microsoft and it only syncs the settings and configuration changes of the programs you want

We have one teacher who was printing out 5,000 page a week since September, now we have shown the reports the printing is less than 1000, we are on target to have save enough already to pay out right for one of the machine we just bought!

We use PDQ deploy Can schedule it for when ever I like, on what ever computers I like .. fast and easy

Hi I have followed this guide and have successfully got Microsoft edge using the proxy server http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-7/110567-ie10-proxy-setting-windows-7-a-2.html#post999643 . The problem I have is in Edge I can simply turn them off. I have the Disable the Connections page enabled which stops IE from being changed Cheers Colin

CHECK the GUID when you hit F12 !!! I had a whole lab where the GUID was the same! a bios update fixed that issue, but I had to reinstall windows on all of them

Hi all! MIS Support Co-ordinator We are a School based midway between Guildford Leatherhead and are looking for a MIS Support co-ordinator, with some experience in report writing. Job role To maintain and develop the management information systems as appropriate ensuring that any down time for development and upgrades is kept to a minimal. And to resolve issues that come through the support suite. Main duties and responsibilities Evaluate pro-actively the school’s use of iSAMS by working with key iSAMS users. Prioritise, in consultation with others to facilitate delivery of key new modules. Setup Report/Assessment cycles, create form groups and teaching sets for each new academic year, create specific or new reports. Work closely with the Network Manager to resolve routine IT problems and to keep the infrastructure up to date. Experience and qualifications Must have good working knowledge of SQL, and at least 1+ years’ experience of working with data and Management Information Systems, must be an excellent problem solver and have an analytical way of proactively solving problems. Although you need to have some basic experience in Excel and MS Access you will be expected to develop them, and will be given all the training needed to do so. Having at least 1+ years of SQL, T-SQL and SQL server is a must. Strong written English and grammar skills. We also only patch in sockets that are required - if someone is going to be malicious and deliberately cause a loop to another working socket, they would have to take two pc's offline to achieve this and make it easy to find
