Hi, im totaly stuped deploying ltsb2106, Im using WDS on server 2012r2 , capture seems to be fine but im unable to deploy, even if it turn off all unatted and answer files and tell it not to join a domain. I have attached Setupact.txt and setuperr.txt (were .log but i dont think i can upload) and i have had to cut tons out as a max of 400kb is tiny.. I would be greatfull if anyone could help me out here setupact.txt setuperr.txt

Not sure how good a £40 NVR would be.. if you have an old server you can install the free version of milestone, excellent interface and Apps for all mobile devices.

Has anyone been able to try mandatory profiles yet?

Hi after falling out with my last support compay who had been looking after me for the last ten years (found a report in O365 looking for emails between myself and another supplier) im looking for recomendations in the Surrey Area. We Are Hyper-V Cluster, backed up with Veem. Mostly HP Back end servers- switches -san Realy only need a few hours of 3rd line a year, Just to keep the Bursar happy when im on holiday and help with projects Cheers Colin

Its not its a very bad thing.. i was pointing out that no matter what version of windows10 you use, the bugs that matter dont get fixed

Currently running LTSB as it is the best version currently available, if after the updates a diffrent version works better, i will use that one

LTSB Gets all security updates, what it dosent get is feature updates, we have had window10 a year now and none of the important bugs have been fixed... i wont be worrieing about falling far behind

Im not 100% but you will probably need to setup Cluster Shared Volumes (CSV)

I had this problem, i think the default group policy is a bit messed up, if you open internet explorer>internet Options > Advanced> restor Advanced settings> your favorites should work, then copy the settings into your IE GPO

Are you saying that when you click favorites you can see all your favorites but when you click on them nothing happens?

Im going to wait for the anniversary update, its so close now its not worth pulling my hair out over. especially as the start menu and profile are different

yes you can using server 2012's built in teaming ... however you can only send data at the teamed speed but not receive unless you configure it on the switches

Ive done something similar but a lot more media, our setup was 2x virtual hosts connected to a san. when we had a high number of students all streaming the same files, it realy slowed down the whole network. So i created a 3rd host , but with local storage, teamed nics across switches moved over the media server and cctv server everything is now much better. im probably going to move over some other servers that dont need clustering but can requre alot of dedicated bandwith like WDS

I had this exact problem, make sure you have the latest ADMX for internet explorer and using server 2012+ to set them make sure you tick Enable alternative codecs in HTML, Play animations in webpages and play sounds in webpages. By default this seems to be turned off on the GPO

Ive gone for LTSB. i dont give a monkeys what microsoft say, windows is just an OS, we dont actualy use it, we use office, gamemaker, videostudio etc ect. Im unfortunate enough to have a windows 10 phone and every upgrade has introduced more bugs and anoyances, if you want to play roulette with your operating system install education or enterprise.

Hi im having trouble with creating mandatory profiles , i have never done one of these before. I think im close but now in the location i have my mandatoy profile , i have gained a .V5 folder and a V5.V5 folder

surly if its got to your firewall and requesting the update URL's it has past the proxy stage? Pc>Proxy>firewall>internet ?

We dont have to have locally stored files etc. I know cloud works, im just not convinced its better
