We have exchange 2003 running on server 2003. Recently e-mails have stopped being sent/received on a regular basis. When I try and stop exchange Infostore it says it can't do it. I will then restart the server and all will be fine. Looking in the event log there is one message 'The memory settings for this server are not optimal for exchange'. Any idea's?

I got in this morning, despite taking me 2 hours to get in. 2 thirds of the students are in, despite living in rural areas. What annoyed me the most was that teachers that have 4x4's aren't in, and staff that live closer/easier to school than me aren't in!

Has anyone used hotwire.com to book hotels,? It seems a good idea but has anyone used to book hotels within the UK? Ie. London town? I know you can only pay in dollars. Does it work out any cheaper? Also, is it worth booking in advance or waiting, say, two weeks before you go?

We've used Data Recovery Services - Oxford London Birmingham Leeds UK just recently. You send the drive off, they inspect it (can be FOC) and then quote you. Upto if you feel its worth it, if not they send the drive back. Superb service. I filled the form out, and they rang pretty much straight away. Always in contact via email and phone- keeping me informed. They were also very 'clued up'. Discussing RAID etc, which drive failed etc.

Make sure you get the money upfront or before you give them the laptop back. Trust me I've learnt from experience!

Don't get me wrong DNA are very good, but these companies make enough money as it is. Safe PC disposal were just as good. Didn't even have to leave the office they did all the work!!

What about the building you hit? Your insurance company will need to pay the damage for that aswell...

This is more of how would you do it. I was asked if it was possible to live stream the christmas panto this year to all the classes in school so that the kids can watch it. I haven't a clue where to start, is it more hassle than its worth? The panto is next thursday 17th.

Yes its foggy but its not that foggy! I can see you, you can see me. All your lights are doing is giving me a headache. Oh and its not cool. The highway code says you need to use them when visibility is less than 100 yards. Its no where near that especially in built up areas!! Grrr. Thank god its friday!
