Does anyone use it? We've been looking at possibly getting a new storage box to backup all our data to, but have been recommended off site backup service. I think the company is called RBUSS- Remote Backup Services for Schools? Obviously the backup is dependant on the internet. Is it worth doing? Is it safe? What the advantages/disadvantages?

Bit of a random one I know, but our digital camera at home seems to 'eat' battery power. Is it worth getting lithium batteries? If so, any recommendations where I can buy, say a pack of 12, for a reasonable price? The only other option is getting a new camera for around the £80 mark. Any suggestions on that? Ideally a thin one, to go in a pocket would be ace.

HP knows its a fault with their product, so I just point out to them that its their duty to fix/replace the formatter board. We've got about 15 of the 2015's, and a third have had the same issue. End of the day, I shouldn't have to 'cook' anything from the printer.

HP Fixed ours for free with a 10 day turn-around. Even if printer was out of warranty. I would never put it in an oven, let alone my own at home!

We've just had a laptop come in the last few weeks. The hard-drive had failed. The teacher said well its got all my personal stuff on it. After explaing that he signed the 'AUP Form', that the only thing I can do is send off the hard-drive for a restore. The price came back at £690. I think he'll be backing up his personal data onto external devices in the future!!

.sch.uk addresses are free I think. So why would you pay for something different?

The problem is with the tech guys at pc world, *shudder*, is that its a well known high street brand so members of the public tend to go and trust there. Its a sad state of affairs unfortunately. Like you said, with so many companies starting up most people will go to a brand/store they recognise despite what it costs.
