Didn't work Arthur! Grrrr. I've got 20 of these to sort! I have an external floppy drive but am struggling to find the sata drivers (if that's what it is!).

My mistake it is SATA drivers. It came with win7 but we ideally need XP on them for security reasons, we as a school aren't reading for Win7 yet! @pantscat Usually there is something in the bios but nothing whatsoever. I've never had an issue before because you can change the drive to IDE or auto-detect. The bios is InsydeH20 Rev3.5 @Arthur Thanks I'll give that a go.

I don't think that will even work, because of the RAID drivers. I put in an XP disc, and when it gets to the setup it blue screens...

Does anyone have experience of dual boot, if I can get that to work for Win 7 and XP, it would be a temp work around.

Annoying thing though, with plumbing and electrics is that if your not sure then allsorts could go wrong! All our issue was the cisterns were low on water and he had to plunge the man hole drain outside... If only I could charge for a job that much that only took that long... People seem to think IT isn't as important..
