    Snow!

We're scheduled for heavy snow from 8am. I start work at 8am. Hope it starts earlier so don't have to make the trip in. I fear that once I'm in I won't leave.

    Tesco Burger

I've just been to Tesco cafe and had a burger. "anything on it sir?' They asked. 'Go on then, a fiver each way'. I replied.
  9. Is NYC expensive when you get there? For a four night stay, how much money do you think a couple would need on average.
  10. Where do you stay Mattx? I want to surprise the wife this year as she's always wanted to go. How much am I looking at for a 4 night stay - its about £2k for a 4 night stay with virgin in November.

  12. I used these for 3 months http://www.grenadefatburner.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/grenade_box_home.png All natural, but allow you to cut down food portion sizes. I drank 2.5l of water a day. I no longer take them but still drink the water. No come down. My metabolism has sped up no end. I still play football three times a week, and squash twice. I am now 12st 5. Down from 14st. And 6 foot and a bit I am now happy with my weight.

    WINZIP256

A user needs to send some important information but zipped up with 256 encryption. Obviously I have to pay for winzip, but does winrar with password do the same thing?
  16. Hi All, We have two sharp projectors, which are approximately 4 years old. Both are in need of repair one won't power on despite changing the power leads etc, the other the lamp isn't very bright- with a brand new lamp. Are there any repair companies you can recommend or is it just worth replacing?
  17. But I'm the only person here, but I am more than happy to take leave. Surely me being in is better than not?
  18. Here's a question to all parents out there. If both parents are workers and your child minder is ill, what is your employer like? Would you take your little one to work? The reason I ask is that I had to bring my daughter, who is 18 months, in and may have to again tomorrow. Work 'seem' ok about it. I'm in for most of the day, or not at all.

    Snow!

Hate the snow. The whole country comes to a stand still. People panic. Also, if I can get into work from 15 miles away, yet 90% of staff can't get in who have an easier journey and is closer...

    Printing

What sort of scripting did you use? The issue is so random. When a user logs on a pc, then the printers won't be there. But if another user, with exactly the same policy, logs in the printers will be added. Sometimes some PC's add a printer, then sometimes it won't. It's a really frustrating one for everyone because it is so random!

    Printing

Yeah that's what we are trying to do with GP Loopback.

    Printing

We seem to have an intermittent problem where users log in to a Windows 7 PC and sometimes the printer gets added, sometimes it doesn't. It really is random. We use a log on script to connect the printer which is on a 2008 r2 and uses the HP universal print driver. I think it's something to do with the print spooler. Is there a way of starting this via a log-on script?
  23. That looks like too much effort for me. For less than a tenner you could do something similar: http://www.highland-instinct.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/beer_advent_calendar.jpg

  25. I don't have an issue with christmas, but I do have an issue with the way it is celebrated. It is too commercial and is just a money making scheme nowadays. Supermarkets have had mince pies out for months which go out of date way before december. Department stores having xmas cards out in august, but worst of all households putting decorations up in october/november. It is supposed to be 12 days before. The spirit of christmas has gone. PS. When does the panic buying begin in the supermarkets, because they are shut for two days?
