  1. We upgraded our backbone last year to 20GB using 2 sets of fibre. We are hoping to have all our edge switches on 10GB within the next 2-3 years. I would agree with Snuffkins about the use media creation across the school.
  2. Hi djgreek Did you ever find the solution to this problem, and if so please could you let me know what the fix is. Any help is appreciated. Cheers

  5. If you are using Windows Server 2008 you can use File Resource Manager which generates reports and hyperlinks showing all the duplicate files and there locations. Hope that helps

  10. I have just found this from an old post and it has resolved the issue. Thanks Nickbro Originally Posted by nickbro The logon tracker/usercard issue is due to a DNS issue, where it can't resolve moodle.astonmanor.bham.sch.uk internally. I'll try and do something to fix that, but it's not likely.
  11. I seem to be having an issue downloading files. I have two test accounts both in the same groups and OU, one can download files and the other can’t. Any help will be much appreciated. I have attached a screen shot of the error. Hawes29
  12. HI sister_annex/nickbro Thanks for all the help so far, I can now login and access files, however I have 2 testing accounts, which are in the same groups with the same access and one works perfectly and the other receives an error. I have discovered that a home directory is needed in Active Directory; once a home folder was created for the user who was having access trouble, I could access all the files and folders on other shared drives. Great product and great support Thank You to all
  13. Hi Sister_annex Thanks again for a quick reply my documents is working ok, its other mapped drives. Cheers
  14. Hi Sister_annex Thank you for a quick reply; I have domain users in the allowed roles, as you can see below. If you could suggest anything else I would be very grateful Cheers
  15. Hi I can’t seem to get HAP to read NTFS permissions on shared drives. I also get the following error when selecting a folder. Error: Unauthorised Access You have attempted to access a restricted resource Go BACK I even get this error as a domain admin. I have seen this before on the forum and tried adding the hap server to the file server, but this didn’t work. I also can’t seem to get Logon tracker working. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  16. Hi Nick, Like everybody else I am seriously impressed by HAP and really appreciate the time and effort you have put into this. We have some of the features working but need a little bit of help with the logon tracker. We have made the changes according to your videos on the Home Access Plus+ site but nothing shows in the tracker portal, it’s probably just a tweak that’s needed, but I can’t seem to fathom it out. Any help would be appreciated
  17. Hi Altecole Would it be possible to have a copy of your scritp showing login details and have go into mysql. We would really appreciate it. Cheers hawes29
