@Arthur 1:30 am that's going above and beyond when it comes to searching

Whilst all these ideas are much appreciated its not really what I am after. I want to be able to list all files by type - (say mp4) on a file share.

I'm looking to free up some space on an ageing and creaking 2012 Fileserver. Can someone suggest a program similar to windirstat or treesize that could find and list me large files by type. I suspect the problem is the plethora of films and music the staff brought in for christmas.

Worked pretty well however there were limitations on the trial of 200GB upload, still suitably impressed that I'm going to pay for the full fat version

A new TV, but not as straightforward as it sounds. I cant for the life of me decide which way to go, do I pay out extra for a 4K HDR or just get a standard HD one ? Currently with Virgin Media so 90% of my stuff comes out of a Tivo box which does not support 4K ( I know the V6 box is due soon but still there's limited 4K content and its bound to be more £) So what would you do and do you have any recommendations screen size 49" - 55 " price range up to £700

I've just signed up to the trial version to investigate the possibility of doing this, I'll feedback soon

Can I be cheeky and enquire as to what this adds up to ?

Isn't this standard in IT, people only ever notice and make a fuss when things don't work, when everything is working fine we go unnoticed despite scurrying around behind the scenes working our fingers to the bone.

Also just received the survey email, but I'm like you @jmak - I don't think many will fill it out

Chrome - random crash outs
TIOAOA replied to mattysmith80's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
We seem to be experiencing random tab crashes on Chrome 54. Cant be 100% sure but this only appears to be on Win 10 Ent our Win 7 machines seem stable -
Is there a good source of copyright free images that we could use on our website and newsletters ? I've been asked to make our website look festive this year (Baaa Humbug)

@Haptic Thanks what length of trial period could you offer ?

Could anyone recommend me a chromebook supplier that might trial me a class set (15). I have the funds to secure devices for the whole of KS3 but unless I can persuade teachers chromebooks are the way forward I'm going to end up with standard windows laptops again. I'd love to work with someone to start a revolution

Make sure the Ohm (usually 4 or 8) on whatever amp you choose match the existing speakers or the 1000watts you think your buying might not actually turn out to be that. What is the make and model of the speakers your looking to power ?
-
Sorry for the thread resurection. Been experiencing similar issues this week. Win7 Clients / Office 2013. Could this be patch related - if so any ideas which one I should be looking to remove ? I'm at a loss - all machines and decent specs i5's with 8Gb ram.
-
Thanks @robyholmes can you give me an idea of the cost per GB you pay per month for this service ?
-
Any chance you could point a could storage novice in the right direction and give me an idea how you set this up ? and how I go about signing up ? Ta

You can set this in T6 in the sessions tab, you will have to pull the timetable back into .NET afterwards

I'm in a similar boat to @mrbios, but I'd like something with a good reliable sync to GAFE facility, used a synology but the cloud integration seems patchy at best, although that could be down to our poor internet connection.
-
Any guide to how you set this up ? Hoping to get around to trialling it in a suite soon
-
I'm looking to do this by backing up data to a cheap NAS unit and then up to GAFE using the NAS client software. I just have to decide on my preferred NAS manufacturer - any suggestions ?

Bump number two. A list of those reg keys would be really helpful @Steve21
