  1. I think I had the same code due to the last supported drivers for some old Konica machines running on Windows 10. Has it only started happening since moving to W10, or has anything been changed on the print server? Does it occur with the same printers or..?
  2. Hiya Few things: Have you checked Event Viewer for GPP related errors? Is it happening to many users on the same machine, ie it happens even though the driver has already installed from another user? Also, a stab in the dark but have you tried setting the GPP as Replace? That was my way around a similar issue.
  3. Preferences on spec, manufacturer etc? Been going directly to Dell of late, usually the best pricing.
  4. How do. Recently got a batch of Lenovo V110 laptops and flashed with W10. With the few using the Realtek 8821ae Wi-Fi card the Wi-Fi all works fine except for connecting to the GPO-defined network.. untilthe card is deleted from Device Manager and added again with Scan For Hardware (no change in drivers). I'm yet to find out if it'll reappear when they're out in the field, but has anyone else experienced this? Anything to stick in our SCCM OSD task to take away this interaction would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  5. Cheers for that mate but still no joy. It's made the licensing information appear correctly in the info now but still got the error.
  6. The one I've got here is straight v 3.0.0 build 48 too, though the reg fix sounds promising! Let me know how you get on when you have the time. Thanks
  7. Cheers for getting back to us mate. Bad news on Immersive.. I've tried all compatibility options but no joy. Are you running Vista or 7? I'm on 7 with DirectX 11. These machines ran Kar2ouche on the previous install of 7 but I didn't roll it out so don't know what steps they went through.
  8. Does anyone know if Immersive have gone bust or otherwise? Neither the phone number or email address are working If that's the case does anyone have the replacement .exe anywhere I could grab? Thanks
  9. I'm going to give this a wee bump - any ideas? It's a strange one which I still can't figure out. Only a re-image seems to get shot of it which definitely isn't the answer.
  10. Brilliant - that sounds like how it should've been done in the first place. Thanks for your help all, really appreciate it. I'll get on to Cunninghams then! Cheers
  11. Hi @ChrisMoore - apologies for the delay in response, the notification was lost in the mass of unread mail post-holiday. I've been looking around at our setup and asked the office staff a few questions. It seems our system is completely independent of SIMS. Staff manually add the students into ID Manager, then bioupdate into Impact. The photos are then exported from Impact to use in SIMS.. seems like we're a bit backwards here and doing things manually which shouldn't have to be done. ID Manager -> BioStoreUpdate -> Impact -> SIMS What exactly would need to be done to sync the data and photograph from SIMS into ID Manager? I've seen Groupcall knocking around, but what is the recommended approach? Thanks!
  12. Wow.. they like messing about don't they, Cunninghams? All installs seem to be different. There was talk of Impact syncing with SIMS but like so many things it never came to fruition. We've been using exportphotos.exe -which is a GUI yes, very similar to biostoreupdate.exe - and copying to a staff area which is then incorporated into SIMS, so Impact is the source of photos rather than SIMS.. Seems your app is for someone with the reverse to my problem, typically Thanks so far though!
  13. Swift reply! It's '\Cashless Catering\Impact\Data\exportphotos.exe', drags the pics from (I presume) Impact which have in turn been synced from ID Manager. It's a Cunninghams setup.
  14. Not sure whether to bump this or start a fresh thread, but : Does anyone know the switches involved to automate exportphotos.exe (preferably with year groups checked)? I can't find any materials about it online whatsoever.. Thanks!
  15. This may be long dead but just verifying the above tip works a treat. Had to sort out the same thing as manually running bioupdate was becoming tedious - that /C switch is just what I needed to know. For some reason Cunninghams seemed incapable of getting the task to work themselves. They also wanted to charge call out for installing ID Manager on additional machines when it was all a simple MSI and pointing to the licenses.
