I've taken on a network where WSUS hasn't been working for sometime, they're currently on W10 v1909, can I jump to 22H2 or do I have to install all feature updates in-between? Thanks

We have a user\Pc that after a period of time their jobs sent to the Papercut Virtual print queue get stuck on "Spooling". A restart of the print spooler on the pc fixes the issue but this issue seems to come back regularly. We have had no other user\PC have this issue. The only difference with this PC is that its left on constantly (24/7) and switching off over night isn't really an option as the user remotes in to the pc from home. Other printing to a local printer on this PC works when the jobs on the Papercut virtual printer are stuck on "Spooling" Any Ideas?

We have recently purchased a number of the Viewsonic IFT7532`s to replace a number of rooms with IWB and Projectors - We have had similar issues to @Oaktech The touch randomly failing, losing signal etc...all fixed with a hard power down. I cant say ive been impressed with these so far, staff training has fixed a few of these issues, but these are workarounds and we shouldn't have to do this. We have also had the issue where if you exit from a Powerpoint in slideshow mode the signal is lost to the PC. Cheaper is not always the best option!

We`re using Cloud drive mapper (Iam cloud) here, to link our OneDrive accounts (staff only at the moment), once you have it setup with SSO, it works pretty much flawlessly. We will be moving pupil's user areas to here soon as well.

Our experience with Biostore (now Iris) hasn't been a great one! it's got better as we`ve gone on, but their support now consists of a portal with their 1st line support technician having limited knowledge. I get them impression most of these companies are the same now though.

Hi, were just in the process of moving over from Office 2019 to 365, a few queries about the ADMX files - I think I've already added these ADMX files a while ago, how can I find out if it's the latest ones on the SYSVOL store? (Currently it shows "Microsoft Office 2016" as the latest in Group Policy, should this show Office 365 ? Thanks

Hi, I'm looking for some feedback on Viewsonic Touchscreens - (Model IFP6550-3 preferably) but just in general really. We`re early on in our roll out of Touchscreens as a replacement for our IWB\Projector setup, we currently have 3 Clevertouch Impact series screens, (45 Rooms to do) with the Viewsonic boards being cheaper, now is the time to decide which direction to take with Manufacturer. Our Server updates installed last night (I set them to install after a certain period) - They seem to have taken an age to update and reboot? Was this normal? They install at 03.00 and usually are done by 4ish - This month the Servers were rebooting at 7ish! - Got me worried that there was an issue with one of the updates! Seem to have settled down now.

Staff member wants a team with just female pupils - Easy to get CSV from MIS but cant see to find an easy way to bulk add them to a MS Group\Team from CSV. Can this be done?

What I've done is in SharePoint > "Documents" created a subfolder for English, Maths etc... but I want to control access to these subfolders only to Maths department etc... I see you can break inheritance but cant find a way to assign a group to the sub folder.

I`m setting up a new Sharepoint site and want to add all our staff to it from a O365 security group, can this be done? I can only add them individually and only seem to find information online as to do it that way. Might be me being slow but I cant see it!. Cheers

Ive been looking at a number fo jobs recently where the grade advertised is the same grade as im currently on, where i`m currently at the top of that grade. How does it work with regards to your starting wage if I was successful when applying for these posts? Would they start me on the same wage as I`m on now? (top of grade) or would I have to take a pay cut and start at the bottom of the grade?

We're looking at starting to upgrade our fleet of monitors around school. What's everyone going for in terms of screen size currently?, (I've not done a mass upgrade for quite a while) These will be for the staff computer in the classroom. Thanks

Hi, We have been advised to de-attach our Veeam backup service from our Active directory, to prevent attackers from gaining access to this in the event of a Ransomware attack. Our current setup is a domain joined Virtual Machine with the latest Veeam version, we (and the backups) connect to this using our domain admin credentials. Is the best way of doing this by having the VM non domain joined and backups connecting to this using the local admin account of the VM?

To be fair to Iris\Biostore, they have got better, we had a horrendous time during their install in our school and the following few months. We had moved to them just as they were moving over to IRIS, so i have a bit of sympathy for them from that point of view. Their support department needs more work though!

Hi, I`m just starting out with MS Intune, I`m wanting to control our staff owned (Windows, Laptop) devices, so they can login using their AD credentials, from home. Is this something that can be achieved with this? We have Azure AD configured. Cheers
