Tried to install the new boot image from 1709 into SCCM and now machines won't boot, they get into the System Center screen and then restart. Re-Installing 1703 now. Anyone else tried this yet?

I was, is it still safe to copy the admx files from the WIM to the central store?

Here i run python-3.6.3-amd64.exe /layout /quiet to get all of the offline files and then run python-3.6.3-amd64.exe python-3.6.3-amd64.exe /quiet InstallAllUsers=1 AssociateFiles=1 PrependPath=1 Include_launcher=1 InstallLauncherAllUsers=1 Include_tcltk=1

We install it using the exe file in SCCM, it can be done without requiring an MSI file.

Hey Guys, Just wondering if anyone had tried this and could let me know if it works. I've enabled data deduplication for our student user folders and it appears to be working well, around 1TB saved and I now want to enable it for staff, but we have offline line files enabled. Does anyone know if it has any negative effects on offline files or whether it is safe to enable? Thanks, James

That's great, really bugging me I might raise a support ticket with Smoothwall.

We allow SIMS access from home, we have RDS set up. We also have a lock screen timeout set and just make sure staff know that this is necessary.

Having this issue too, also using Meraki. I have got YouTube videos playing but unfortunately haven't got thumbnails on the iPads. Does anyone have any more ideas, nothing is being blocked as far as I can see.

Yeah, I've been tripped up by this once before!

If you create the new application, you can just set it to supersede the old one with an "uninstall action" or leaving it default will just upgrade (if this is possible), then deploy it to the collection and the upgrade will happen automatically. I think this is what you are meaning, sorry if not.

Been looking at these, without PXE I'm not sure I will bother. What are the devices like otherwise? Are they well built?

We have managed to remove old students from SIMS but staff is a different matter altogether, if they have previously logged in to SIMS then you cannot remove them :/ Capita just tell me they are aware of the issue!

We've had to do the same previously, Impero seems to block some sign in pages.
