To get last years you'll need to include all the individual marks in that date range and then work with them in excel using formulas, pivot tables or such. There used to be pre-built reports in the Capita Support portal but not sure if they are still there.

Are they in your admissions area? I've had students show up in random places because of that.

I hope i'm not repeating someone else, but does Edulink write back to SIMS regarding attendance. So if a parent leaves a message saying why their child was off can you import that directly to their record in SIMS?

We enter future students this way and have never had an issue, can you wait until they join and see if it is still a problem.

Do you have an official document detailing this, just that it's very different to what I've seen? Especially the part about the paper records?

You can do letters via an individual report for groups of students, these can be uploaded to linked documents. For individual letters you can use quick letter.

We get support direct from SIMS and I've called them for all sorts of issues. If they can't help straight away they pass it to their second line team and someone will remote in if necessary.

Hi, Does anyone know the best way to add an extra lesson just to the end of Wednesday for a review/homework type lesson that is not part of the model. I only know to add it to each day, blank the other days and then add an alternative curriculum to the wednesday. Main issue is that there are 1500 students to add to this and doing it one by way will probably take me til Christmas! Any suggestions please. Thankyou.

Hi, A while ago I created a report in SIMS that outputs to an excel spreadsheet with Macros that work automatically when the report runs. I've copied this report but need to edit the template but am completely stuck! can't even remember where I saved the template. But if I do find it I need to edit it but keep the original for the original report. Can anyone help please. Thankyou

A few people have said that they use a combination of TASC Insight and SchoolComms, what does Schoolcomms do that TASC Insight doesn't?

Does Tasc Insight send emails or texts? How do you alert parents to a new letter or document? Thanks

In Insight, for something like Exam Timetables or reports does it send a copy to the parent or do they need to go looking for it on a website?

I've got a fixed cell, the cell stays the right size but not the photo. What I actually get is a cell outline with the top left part of the picture in it and then the outline of the whole photo taking up the page, as you drag the corners in it fits to the cell but it's a pain to do with each one. Picture has come out a bit small but shows the part of the report with the photo.
