    Tried it this morning and I have to say it works really well. Got one issue where the SHARP copier keeps prompting for the user ID on the server when you print from an Ipad. I have been on the server and checked all the relevant remember this ID boxes etc but I still get the prompt but that's something I can sort with a driver. Not sure what I will gain from the Enterprise license as the $20 one seems to do all the basics i.e. "Printing"

    Got that in my head as another option jmak think they have a Sharp at this particular school so the sharpdesk app may be of use. Will try it this morning when I visit them.

    Do you think the Presto software will be ok installed on the Server 2008 DC server? They don't have a dedicated server just the DC sharing out the copier.

    Hi all got asked the question I knew was coming as soon as I saw them... "how can we print from our new ipads" So far I have 3 options I have found... 1. Software - Presto (is this what people call Fingerprint) 2. Air Print Enabled printers 3. Apple Airport Extreme Now that I am home I have installed presto on my Server 2012 test enviro and I have to admit so far it seems great just sadly I have no printers at home so all I see shared is XPS Printer which does jack for me. Anyway its 2015 and most of the posts I read on here and online were dated 2013 so I wanted to find out what everyone else does at present. Cheers all!

    I will try a test setup using my email address I think this weekend. Can this all sync with the iPhone's calendar then or does it need a Google App?

    Hi I have a client who is a one man band registered business who is wanting to get his mail on his Iphone laptop see his calendar and contacts and everything to be in sync all the time no matter which device he edits things from. He currently has his domain through a 1and1 mailbox using IMAP but doesn't have any calendar sync like he would if he had his own server with exchange on. Can anyone tell me what the most simple solution for him is i.e. exchange online or something else and something that is dead easy for him to maintain so that everything works fluently.     I did read this thread... http://www.edugeek.net/forums/cleo/141477-unblock-apple-app-store-lightspeed.html but it didnt seem to have a definitive answer for BT Lancashire. I know at the schools I visit the App store doesnt work.

    Knew this issue was coming. A teacher has said the App store doesnt work through the BT Lightspeed Proxy but does through CLEO's (which is going). Does anyone know what addresses I need to add to allow the use of the App store. Thanks in advance. CC

    Yeh I was going to give the people who want full access on their computers (Head, Reception etc) a static IP on that machine. AD integration sounds far better but some of these schools I only get 1hour a week to visit and they usually have a million and one things they want looking at and sorting so I am trying to keep things more simple and less Admin.

    Hi I am wanting to create a small range on the BT Lightspeed system that is unfiltered. Currently it is the standard setup they created which is... Do I simply have to delete the one they have added and add the following rules manually... New Ranges: 10.98.65.0 - 10.98.65.169 Students 10.98.65.170 - 10.98.65.180 Allow All 10.98.65.181 - 10.98.65.255 Students Thanks in advance.

    Hi Guys I am visiting a school today where they aren't happy with the Lightspeed facility as it is blocking most pages they use on a regular basis. They are wanting to go back to the old setup using their CLEO box as a proxy.1. This is new to me Lightspeed so I have just had a good read through this thread and found out quite a bit now already.2. How do we revert them knowing nothing on the server 2012 was changed and lightspeed has just kicked in.Any help appreciated.

    Many Thanks for this fix Michael we now have populated proxy settings but I cannot get "Bypass proxy server for local address" to tick. This is only the IE10 and IE11 users so W7 W8. Any ideas what I might not have or done correctly. Thanks.
