1. Bugger than then.
2. Wow, a "cheap" iPhone. With the power of the iPhone 6. The first time I might actually buy an iPhone new. Apple unveils smaller iPhone and iPad Pro - BBC News
3. I did a network install over the weekend, massive old 1970's pre fab school, no heating, close to midnight, every door sqeeaked, I was walking around, most of the lights were off, apart from in the corridor, I went into a small office to build a machine, and I swear to god I heard people talking, as if they were next door. It was not anyone with me, as they were in the server room, and far away at the other end of the building. They would also have to walk into that section though the creaking doors. It was not anyone outside either, as the whole building is surrounded by playground, far from the street. When I told my colleagues they said I was mad. I KNOW WHAT I HEARD.
4. R.I.P..
5. It will work (main box and multiroom ones), but some features such as active mesh wifi won't work.
6. Is it any good? lots over on the Sky forums saying they are sending it back, over a few bugs, pointless in my opinion, Sky are working on fixes. I have "classic" Sky HD with multiroom. So I upgraded, I would only have one main box, as I expected, the wireless link between boxes is failing for many, think I will stick with cable connections when I get it.
7. Always my hands, even if I were in a posh place (does Restaurant Gordon Ramsay do burgers? doubt it)
8. Blind me! HAHA I wonder where Mr and Mrs Green are now? Be interesting to know if they went into IT. She emailed her doctor, you still can't do that even now!!!!!
9. Sorry to bump this up, just wondered if anyone had got Q yet? Its being installed now, from late Feb, so a few should have it now. Over on the Sky forum, some like it, some hate it. If you send it back to Sky, you can't get it again for a whole year.
10. There are bad academy chains, but there are also good.
11. If you really want click, click, done, use Weebly. I see some schools have. (using a really old theme) ÂAshton Vale Primary School - Home
12. Forum section is called "Windows 10", I should think its for discussing Windows 10.
13. They will learn the normal stuff. I think its a good idea to ensure children learn how to speak to each other etc, small children should not use iPads etc.
14. "It's much tougher in the real world" No way, as long as you work for a decent place.
15. Nottingham school without computers or a head teacher rated 'outstanding' by inspectors | Nottingham Post
16. Its horrible, I don't think I could ever make the "call". My dog of 14 years just died, I never had to worry about making the choice.
17. IT can change a password when ever they deem necessary. All users should be aware.
18. I have been both (in the same place), and really could not tell you. Its more, I think, to do with trust. You are trusted to do things as a senior techie, while as a normal techie the manager would watch over you. Senior's are just left to get on with it. I only did basic server stuff, very basic!
19. From April you will be able to order if you are not a Sky BB customer.
20. Its a bit 2008, it needs to look nicer and work on mobiles, but a good idea.
21. £99 to activate? what a load of tosh.
22. I will wait a few months, see how it goes.
23. Force them, disable USB drives. Once they start using Onedrive, it might temp them to use the other stuff. Most staff just think its Hotmail and nothing more.
24. Acorn Computers - Computing History You could go and look at one. Amazing how much they go for now, to think how many ended up in land fill.
25. Does this guy actually do any work?
