  1. You haven't got anything else running on port 8080 (or whatever port is running on) on that server? DNS updated correctly and ports/programs allowed through the Windows firewall?
  2. Just check it's been fully released from the Primary School's Apple School Manager too. Once enrolled in Mosyle, it's easy to push out apps/Smoothwall interception certificate (assuming it's still needed with their browser, I'm out of the loop on that one).
  3. You could set up Mosyle which is free and fairly easy to use. Enrol the iPad in Apple School Manager and use DEP to enrol it into Mosyle. That way you can still control/manage/buy/own any apps along with ensuring any restrictions you want are applied. What do you use for filtering currently?
  4. In SIMS, we used to just add them to the timetable as an additional member of staff to the class.
  5. You shouldn't have been able to verify the domain in your tenant if it already exists in another tenant. Have you tried an Admin Takeover? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/misc/become-the-admin?view=o365-worldwide If you can't, you'll probably need to get through to someone to assist with an admin takeover:
  6. I had issues, rebooted my phone and been ok since
  7. I borrowed the idea from someone on here at one point for one school and setup a Wordpress blog, teachers were authors and either subjects/classes/yeargroups were tag's/categories and staff just needed to select the correct ones - I think whoever I borrowed it off had moved onto something more advanced/integrated (and it's a few years since I did it now and it was eventualy replaced in the pandemic with Google Classroom) but for the most part of something fairly simple, generic and easy to use it was perfect. I've done a bit of searching but can't find the original posts now, if I do find it I'll post the link.
  8. Sounds like a cannon printer, the only way I got Cannon printer software to install was to be logged on as a local admin (or maybe domain admin, right clicking and running as administrator just wouldn't work).
  9. If you sign in with an admin account it will tell you what you are granting access to.
  10. I was suprised too, but no that is still the most recent full installable ISO.....
  11. KB0035951 from the ESS Support site
  12. I'd build a marksheet to do it, I've tried to pull it out of the reporting catalog (admittedly probably 5 years ago) and couldn't get the filters to work right or hit a limit with the number of filters/sub reports which could be applied to it.
  13. You want KB0035951 from the ESS Support site
  14. Try disabling Audio Enhancements on the output, I can't remember if it's that or not granting exclusive access which fixed it for me: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/disable-audio-enhancements-0ec686c4-8d79-4588-b7e7-9287dd296f72
  15. Hi All Anyone know if there's a way to install the Microsoft Powerpoint app onto a BenQ screen? The WPS office built in to the screen doesn't display all of the elements correctly, so not sure if that's the font or compatability issue with the program. Thanks
  16. Try changing /persistent:yes to /persistent:no - that shouldn't then retain the shared drive and will remap when you log back on. Alternatively add a net use /delete H: and net use /delete J: to the top of your script. Or have I misunderstood - do you only want to run the script once? If so, try not prompting for the credentials and using /savecred in your script or a combination of commands from here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/22680957/mapping-a-network-drive-and-having-trouble-saving-password
  17. When we had one, we transfered the Gcode (I think that's right) to an SD card and then plugged that in the replicator to select the file to print.
  18. I always had a seperate admin account and then just set up a mail forward rule to my normal email account.
  19. Port VLAN ID - what VLAN it will send untagged traffic down is my understanding
  20. Agreed, whenever I was doing anything with assessment previously I would try to keep as few aspects as possible and build up using result sets.
  21. That becomes a fairly narrow scope though and won't cover a lot of the data that you store/resources accessed plus a lot of segregation of the network. I agree though that MAM-WE is the best way forward for this.
  22. Not under Evandine, BYOD devices are in scope if it is member of staff and it accesses company data.
  23. Thanks, I'll give it a go!
  24. Hi all I'm probably missing something obvious but I can't see this anywhere.... Trying to deploy an android app to some chromebooks, however there is an exclamation mark saying that "Android Apps are disabled for this organisational unit". Clicking on it says "Android Apps are disabled in Additional App Settings" with a helpful link, however I can't for the life of me see the option to enable Android Apps. Anybody able to spell out for me what I need to enable where please?
  25. Probably a daft question, but are you using a crossover cable?
