  4. Hi All, We have been having some issues with our exchange 2013 box lately. When a user tries to load OWA they have to try around 3 times for the page to load otherwise they get "Webpage Unavailable" . This is just to try and load the OWA Login page. Once they have it loaded it runs fine and they can close the browser and reopen and its fine but its the initial loading of the login page. It doesnt matter what browser they are using it happens on both Google chrome and Internet explorer. Anyone else had this before? Thanks
  5. Hi all, Managed to get this sorted out (Touch Wood). The issue was with the network drivers and Virtual Machine Queues. Once i had disabled this the CPU dropped. All has been fine since monday. Thanks for you help !

  10. Hi All, I am currently testing our new file server after issues with High CPU. I have managed to lower the CPU but now when users are logging in the logins take ages. Most of the time is spent with a little box at the top left "setting up personalized settings" Any idea if this is related to the file server or something else? Anyone had this before? Thanks
  11. HI all, I have two hyper v hosts connect to a dell ps6100 SAN using iscsi initiator. When i set it up i have to connect the hosts to the san and then mark the volume as online on both hosts. Now on the one host i am getting errors about the ISCSI drive "Online Scan Needed". These repairs seem to happen automatically as i can see in the logs the following. "The file system structure on volume D: has now been repaired." Any idea why this would be happening? Is it because i have two hosts connected with the disk marked as online? Do i need to stop the server from automatically repairing them ? Thanks
  12. Did you ever manage to repair the corrupt VHD? Cheers

  14. Any tips on finding what that process is ?
  15. Just looked at our CPU usage on the file server again and we are back at square one. Its gone sky high again! I have used process explorer to look at the threads being used by the system process . Take a look at the screen shot. No idea what the thread is doing though.
  16. managed to update the drivers and i now have a steady 1-3% cpu with a hand full of users on the server. Guess its a waiting game until tomorrow. Hope its fixed the issue

  19. Could you find me the link you used or version you are running?
  20. I have just disabled the network adaptor and the CPU hit 0% and is fine so it must be NIC related ? Or is it just because no one is trying to browse files?
  21. The storage is provided from a Dell SAN through 2gb ISCSI connection.
  22. The Nics are intel I350 . Sophos is excluded from running where the VM's are stored.
