  1. I think you mean with added twitch streams ... (Oh wait, you get people using consoles with twitch, or so I believe :M)
  2. As has been said, it's 230 for a Gibibyte. If you did want to get in technicalities, a gigabyte is 1,000,000,000 bytes so 109.
  3. I did have one of the cheaper chinese built ones. It worked fine for about 4-5 months, then abruptly died on me. I'd recommend to get something more sturdy if you buy one.
  4. http://www.amazon.co.uk/MDM12D-Monitor-Stand-Swivel-Rotate/dp/B0047GF0QW/ref=pd_sim_recht_5?ie=UTF8&refRID=0YFN96G7TR0RXCPRWPNG This is the one I have, couple of 24" screens on it. Works fine, is sturdy enough and has decent features such as rotating portrait to landscape, as well.
  5. Ah, must have been a limited thing black friday deal.
  6. Kärcher WV60 Window Vac - Window Cleaning Vacuum Kit: Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools <-- WV60 from amazon for £45 quid, as well. (Just saw this pop up on my black friday deals and thought of this thread)
  7. PM sent. Wearing my VeryPC socks now for extra luck
  8. I got this one 7 months ago when it was on a good offer, not sure if there's anywhere else as cheap at the moment though. KARCHER Window Vac WV50 £29.99 INSTORE @ B&M (Nationwide) Updated photo/possible price match. - Hot UK Deals
  9. I've got one of the cheaper ones. Best thing I've ever bought.
  10. I've been using Adblock Plus for godknows how long now. I do whitelist some sites, however.

    PC Headsets

I've got a Madcatz Freq 7, a pretty decent headset which has done me fine for the past couple of months.
  12. Yeah, I was looking forward to this (Given Black Flag was one of the better games that I've played in some time) but I think I might wait for some patches or a good sale to be done.

    dlc in games

Ah yes, I occasionally do this stuff myself with things like the Tales of Games and with Final Fantasy X/X2 HD remake. I guess if you are getting something physical, it's acceptable by my books.

    dlc in games

I don't have an issue with DLC, persay. Certainly with regards to some of the older stuff I've got (the fallout 3/new vagas DLC added a bit to the game), Bioshock Infinite stuff and some of the Borderlands 1/2 DLC was mildly fun and added something new to the games. My issue is with day-one DLC. If I'm willing to drop £40 quid on your game, I don't expect to not have the 'full' release on day one. If something is made and ready for the initial release, it should just be included into it. My other issue, which has only cropped up in a couple of posts here is with pre-order bonuses. You could take a look at steam to find many of the top purchased games are things that haven't even been released yet (well, it used to be. On checking, many things on the list have only just recently come out) . Why do people drop money onto games before it's released... because you get a 'free' weapon, a different coloured skin. You get a extra bit of DLC that is only available if you pre-order. This, more than anything else, is what I want to see removed from existence. Way back when, if you wanted to take a look at a game, you'd download a demo and then decide if you want to buy it. Now you've got no choice but to buy the game before it's released without any guarantee that it'll work, end up as you thought or a whole other manor of issues that are likely to arise. Certainly when you've recently got embargos on reviews going out until after the game is released, you've got no choice but to either wait and see or miss out on bonuses that you'll never be able to get after it comes out.
  15. I've been looking at these for some time. I did want the RGB colour option, but they were a bit too pricey if you ask me.
  16. As others have mentioned, Chrome. 90% of the work I do at some point involves using it, I'd say.
  17. I would mention something about going to pen island, but I think I'm too mature for that :hides:
  18. Spent a tenner, won £6 back... Ah well, a win's a win I guess.
  19. Become a full blown neet and spend the rest of my time playing games. Sounds good enough to me
  20. Not sure if I'm a fan of the pixelated box + hand, if you ask me. It looks to be easily construed as something else >___>;; Kidding, of course ;P
  21. Ah well, I shall just have to try and hunt one down myself.

    Ebola

I wonder when the express will get round to this story, I'm sure they can link it to Diana somehow like they seem to do with everything else.
  23. Can the grand prize instead be the soft crocodile(?) toy. I'd take that over a bit of tech anyday
  24. All I can suggest is regardless of what you choose, don't go for the cheapest no-name option. Our media tech guys were playing around with some cheap cans bought off of amazon, needless to say they all ended up in the bin due to poor quality.

    Ebola

On a serious note, does anyone remember the whole issue with Swine Flu a couple of years back. That was said to be a full level pandemic, which didn't really do all that much damage in the grand scheme of things. Same goes for the bird/avian flu that was supposed to be making the rounds some a couple of decades back. I, myself, have full faith in WHO to properly contain this to most extent.
