we pretty much have gb switches through out the network with fibre backbones. not all our pc's have gb nic's though, id say about 70% have 750ish machines here

Also depends on whether your fog server and client have gb nic's that certainly helps!

Excellent thank you, ive now done that and have added myself permissions to it, but again when i try to open a users inbox via outlook, i select the account from the list and click ok it still says "unable to access the folder. the inbox cannot be found"

This may sound odd... but technet is not available within our network, the NM before he went off sick was puzzled as to why.. i cant go into detail in a public forum but yes i need full access to said mailbox

where do i find or use setperm? cannot simply add the username to the owa you still need the users password, i cannot reset the users password (not allowed to) i need full access to their mailbox not just see the contents thanks everyone so far!

Neither of those worked, our owa doesnt display the username in the address bar and when trying to add the inboax in outlook it errors saying it cannot locate it

Hi folks, i have been asked (orderd) by senior management to get access to annother memebers of staff emails as a matter of urgency. How can i do this withought resetting that users password and logging on as them? can i get into the mail box through exchange?

hi everything is fine apart from what i asked in the last post

i spoke to soon, i had to copy the calendar directly into my calendar file, then i was able to view it side by side my personal calendar. now question is, this copy isnt live so any changes wont be available unless i copy the calendar over again, is there a way around this?

Disregard me previous post, i was being dumb... But i do have a new problem, ive created the shared calendar in the public folders, but so far i have been unable to add it to my calendars view where i can copy over appointments etc. can somone help me out? thanks

annother question. Ive got the calendar setup, i have shared it for the moment with 3 users, i have input an appointment for 5pm today, but non of the other accounts can see it? does it take a while to update am i doing something wrong?

When following the instructions in the link, on stage two im getting permission denied errors, what permissions do i need to set and where? thanks
