Hi, You could look at the Samsung Tab 3 10" or Asus Google Nexus tablet. May be slightly above £150, but these are good options for what you're looking for.

So he did. Well at least you know where to look for refurbished PCs and accessories now

Hi, We have a refurbished PC brand, Encore: Refurbished Laptops There'll be some new ones added soon, so if there's nothing there at the minute it's worth taking a look in the future Liz

Ultra short throw projector to SB880
Stone_Liz replied to rickjames's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
Hi, It's an LCD so the colours are really bright and clear, better colour reproduction so you don't have to worry about that. DisplayNote is great for class collaboration. It sits on a host laptop/PC and other users can 'join' the lesson using tablets for example. They will see whatever is on the large screen on their tablet and be able to annotate on these to make notes and share with multiple users. Great for presenting, sharing and collaboration. Take a look at DisplayNote - NEC Display Solutions Europe GmbH - Portal Site NEC Display Solutions Europe GmbH for more information on DisplayNote and how you can use it in class. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else. Liz -
[android] Recommendations for Android Tablet for preschool
Stone_Liz replied to Jollity's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
Hi @Jollity, We're finding the Samsung Galaxy Tablets very poular in schools. They're great for smaller children - keeping them engaged, motivated and working together. There are so many fun and exciting apps for smaller children available. If you need pricing or an evaluation unit to trial - just PM me your details. Another option to consider would be Samsung's new Ativ Tab 3 for a light and very thin Windows based tablet, let me know if any are of interest or if you'd like to talk to one of the team for more details on these. Ultra short throw projector to SB880
Stone_Liz replied to rickjames's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
Hi @rickjames, We'd suggest the NEC UM280x. This comes with 5 year warranty and the Display Note preenter license, which is ideal if you're looking to implement tablets in the future. Let me know if you need any further help or a quote. -
Hi, the Clevertouch Fusion is a great option for secondary level. We do find that a majority sold are to primary schools due to the nature of them and they're great for collaboration and interactive games. But for secondary level this would be a great choice. 32-point touch, 55" LED and comes with Snowflake software. PM me your email if you'd like me to send quote over for this option

XJ-ST145 Casio Projector - Image range?
Stone_Liz replied to Max_Power's topic in AV and Multimedia Related
Hi, Projector is native 4:3 so you need to be inputting a 4:3 image into it (1024 x 768 more commonly known as XGA). You will need to set your output resolution on your computer to 1024 x 768. If you send the projector a WXGA (16:10 1280 x 800) signal then the projector will re-create it however this will change the throw ratio’s to fill the screen correctly. Please see the below link to projector central website which allows you to select input resolution. It does not show 16:10 but will allow you to calculate very closely the image dimensions required. Casio XJ-ST145 Projection Calculator - Throw Distance and Screen Size If you need any further support please let me know and I will help as much as I can. Liz -
