If you don't need real-time ray tracing for the games you'll be playing then the 1660Ti will be great. No worries @Gongalong. I can help you out with some new USB/Audio headers for your BLX's, won't stop the damage mind, but at least you'll be able to replace any that have been damaged; BD-VPC-USB-PANEL-BL VeryPC Broadleaf USB/Audio header £6.60ea + Delivery 791 available in stock I know that they're not the easist part to replace as you have to unscrew the entire front face plate etc We've done some projects recently, one for a Library springs to mind where their software build config included us 'switching off' the front USB/Audio ports at the BiOS level for the Flex Micro. In a public setting that was the damage they were experiencing the most so decided to have us disable them during build, and with the lockable rear cable shroud preventing access to the rear I/O shield, and VESA mounting them on the monitors it was a good solution for them. And in a Detention Facility setting, we didn't even install the USB/Audio header at all in the Broadleaf One and fabricated a completely solid front face plate, with an opening solely for the vandal resisitant power button. That way they retained the solid, metal chassis construction and prevented front panel intrusion completely. Lots of your machines historically had the card readers didn't they? I wonder if some low cost USB card readers with additional USB ports could do the trick too, that could be handed out on demand?

Hi @Optimus_Primal, thanks for posting. Are the governors suggesting you re-use the 19" monitors from the RM Ones? Would that even be possible? Whilst it's true that the cost of a HD 19" monitor would be marginally less than a FHD 21.5", the benefits to staff of a larger viewable screen would be immense for work flow, eye strain, etc, etc. I'd be happy to help you with your costings and specifications for this replacement project, so do feel free to get in touch. Hi @Skip, thanks for posting! This sounds like a job for the VeryPC Flex, with security screw, so thanks for the shout outs on it guys. We'd provide the screw bit too, in effect acting like a single keyed security solution. The Flex has a rear cable shroud to deter prying fingers you see which also has a convenient Kensington lock point. The security screw would lock it down nicely. In addition there is the optional height adjustable monitor mount kit to turn it into a neat and tidy hybrid AiO solution. What would have/could have been had he stayed at Ferrari.. I mean he lost out to Vettel by 4 points in 2010 and then 3 points in 2012 and at Mclaren during Lewis's 1st year he lost out by 1 point to Kimi in 2007. Realistically he could have been a 5 times F1 World Champ and if he'd stayed at Ferrari instead of switching back to Mclaren he'd have been in with a chance last year and this year. I look forward to watching him in Indy Cars though.

This summer we've seen increased demand from education customers for AMD Ryzen builds instead of Intel. Feedback on performance has been tremendous too. Prices aren't much different to an equivalent intel build neither.

Wife turned on her windows laptop last night for the first time this year, as she tends to do everything on her iPad, but needed to create a bootable USB key. I kid you not it took an hour just to run through updates. Her fault though for letting it gather dust. Guess it would be the same whether it be Windows, Chrome/Android or iOS/OSX or whatever though if it's not been used in a while. The Google ad did make me chortle though.
