Congratulations on the coming wedding mate!!!!! Sorry to hear the rest. My advice is don't even sweat it until you've had the endoscopy. My mum has chrones and had lots of her insides removed but is always happy and able to enjoy life. I've inherited IBS but its only mild and just keeps me skinny really. So keep your chin up and stay positive - ps 20.....

Amen to that Brother! There is a stigma attached to the 'Geek' side of IT, but frankly that's the side the magic happens on. As a sector we need to show the cool. Media Studies wouldn't be half as good without great ICT to back it up. I always remember the guys in school who filmed, edited and produced the annual school video - they were like sorcerors to the other kids. ICT was a dark art when I were a lad though.

With a billion quid, everything suddenly seems pretty sexy. It can't be being pitched right in schools. LOL, I have relaxed my attitude toward the Linx my friend. I think they're a good little device for home users and appropriate requirements. When I checked the camera out on it, I wasn't jumping for joy, a bit grainy if I remember and saves them to the device as quite a large file. Can anyone confirm this who's got one - I might be completely wrong. It defo hits the price band needed and if it runs target tracker then it could be the one for @mikeprice, I agree with @ICTDirect_Dave on that. But..... if you'd rather a device that can do the target tracker and a bit more so you get maximum value, feel free to send me a message; We do a pretty nifty sub £200 Windows tablet that I'm confident would do the job and allow for a bit more usage too.

Security cages for NUCs are around the £29.99 mark but they won't prevent users pulling cables out - they just deter people from trying to nick them off the back of the monitor or whatever they're screwed onto. I like @tmcd35s suggestion of the VeryPC Flex. It has a rear cable shroud (lockable) and options such as solid scratch proof aluminium blanking plate for the front fascia and monitor mount kit to pull the entire solution together into one neat and tidy set up.
