I would love to comment but have only spoken to people at both companies never seen the products. Interesting Double First entering the mainstream market now... very interesting. Thought it was very good, and I like Brooker.

There really is this feeling of a divorce here, where Scotland will up sticks with the telly, the x box, the good cutlery and leave the dog behind... how they think they can dictate what they will and won't have when the go is crazy... If they go they are totally on their own, no infrastructure of their own we will take it all. Besides, they vote on the Thursday, count Friday, declare Saturday, party Sunday and we invade Monday... 2pm Monday afternoon it belongs to England... again...

Now I am often the worse one for not just enjoying a show for what it is, which is what I did here by the way, but that daily mail (who I hate with a passion by the way!) Really does make me laugh and puke at the same time... It was fun, intriguing, answering, questioning, and brilliantly acted most of the way through... it was an anniversary special. And felt like a stand out feature length. Stop bloody moaning!!

Yep... although disappointed that Chris didn't want to appear and just do the cameo... rather than rely on CGI...

But forget all that it was the best episode in years... possibly only beaten since the re imaging by the first episode with the Angels... or with John Simm as the master. John Hurt was brilliant and worthy of a series to himself! And I was mouth wide open at seeing Tom Baker... superb writing!

Just going back a few posts... regardless of whether he calls himself the doctor or not as John Hurt... He is still a time Lord who has 13 lives... so under that rule Capaldi should be the last life... We know they will find a way round it but for the record that is how it should be and also a great set up for a story line!
