Nope Office365 doesn't seem able to - time to get a copy of office 2013 then
-
I'll try office365 and see if it does it - if not Word 2013 first as that only costs us £36 Acrobat was £465! Simon

Anyone using a full version PDF to Word convertor. This is to take whole books in pdf format and convert them to word to be printed out on a braille printer. SEN TA is using free online ones that won't handle a large document like a book and we'd like to get a proper one Simon

This tosh has INtel Daul-band 7260 and WU says its the latest drivers Just tried a nano dongle in it and that worked fine. When I'm bored one day - I'll play with it further but I need to just put it back into service! Simon

Wow - an impressive machine Sonar23 will not show up as a sensor until you've done a broadcast sonar23. Its a chicken/egg situation Scratch doesn't know about any ultrasonics until you use it You might want to use broadcast ultra23 instead. The difference is that once you've broadcast ultra23, then ScratchGPIO will automatically do a reading every second and silently update the sensor value (ultra23) So if 1 sec intervals are short enough, it saves having to keep on pinging Simon

Tried it un-encrypted - no diff - like I say it works fine on the admin net, fine in another school (all UniFi) so I think its more a DHCP server issue at the moment
-
Going to try that when I go back to school on the friday - also taking a nano dongle as I've spent FAR too much time on the little (*&&^^%%%%%!

New little board - CodeBug
SimpleSi replied to SimpleSi's topic in Raspberry Pi, Arduino & Other SBCs
I got hold of a Codebug on saturday but haven't got access to a serial API yet to start coding up a Scratch interface It usually takes me 24 hrs to get one up and running from when I get access Simon -
I've now added a compiler which takes ScratchCrumble .sb files and converts them into native #Crumble .crm files Topic: ScratchCrumble -> NativeCrumble | Redfern Electronics

I did think of that as the orig curric was plain WEP but I added another SSID with same type as the admin and it still didn't work
-
I've taken the laptop to another school and its connected fine. All the networks are UniFi AP so that shouldn't be the issue. i wonder if its a strange DHCP issue with this laptop on the orig school curric network Simon

Its a standalone Win7 pro laptop netsh wlan show profiles givs under group and user so I think it actually has no profiles and I'm barking up the wrong tree. I've tried setting manual ip but that's made no diff. I'm going to try pluggin on one of my little Raspberry Pi nano dongles and try that when I come back on Friday Simon

I've a strange one newish tosh laptop won't pick up IP address on curric network via wifi and says it will connected happly to admin network So I'm thinking that maybe its remembered the wrong wifi password I went to remove the curric network from list of wifi networks but there are none in the list to delete How do I get it to forget ANY networks (removing device and re-installing doesn't seem to work either!) One of my schools was just "upgraded" to ActiveLearning from Bug Club. We've had a few issues (teachers usernames changed but only some of them!) and if child had read their books - then they weren't transferred across which caused us confusion) Any other things to beware of? Simon
