Sounds like a @VeryPC PocketRocket would be the order of the day here. 13" full HD IPS screen, long battery life, no optical drive. Equip it with an SSD and you're flying! I've got mine connected to a 24" monitor when I'm in school, but I'm happy to work on it as is when I take it home.

Finally met my milkman last week. I forgot to put the bottles out on Thursday night, so put them out on Friday morning about 7. Just as I opened the door, the milkman was on his way over with my two fresh pints. Not the chirpy kind of chappie I was expecting, though. I think I may have managed to get half a grunt from him.
