The way I got my proxy to apply was using an IE8 Configurtion from Group Policy, and did some xml magic and changed the version to MAX 11.0 and it worked put the proxy settings all is working, Might also be helpful to look at this: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-7/110567-ie10-proxy-setting-windows-7-a.html

What i found was install WAIK and use DISM to patched the image offline I didnt want to learn a load of cmd lines So i found thus: DISM GUI - Home Gives you a nice UI for using DISM and patching drivers and removing them.

Elevated command line: C:\windows\system32\sysprep>slmgr -rearm -> get an error about maximum number of rearms exceed. Slmgr /dlv confirms it. 2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\SoftwhereProtectionPlatform\ SkipRearm from 0 to 1 3. Elevated command line: Run C:\windows\system32\sysprep>slmgr -rearm again and get a success message telling me to restart to apply changes. 5. Yeah you change the install location in steam to D:\ or whatever your 500G Drive is assigned to, then copy the steam games over and rebuild your library.

That's Strange, I've got Folder Redirection and takes about 10/20 seconds to login. After i rebuilt most of the the group policy, left by my predecessor. Hoping to move to a fully visualized system, when i get some new servers as well!

Ive been using Linux about 2004ish - Always Stuck with Ubuntu, Although ive played with CentOS, Debian, Arch and Fedora Desktop. I Have Linux Servers at home, which run over a ESXi Hpyervisor. Running a 2TB Media Server, and hopefully (over easter) a Games and Web Server, I Also have plans, to move away from my crappy netgear router, and implement, either a virtual or dedicated software router - running Ubuntu LTS with DHCP Capability and a couple of WAPs around the house - but that's more long term project.

Thats Funny Cuz these are the exact two items, i'm using at the moment, Im running ESXi 5.1 on a HP ProLiant ML110 G7 Which is alright, But have had a few issues with it, But at the moment Its running Windows Home Server 2011, and a Ubuntu Media FTP Server, and soon i'm hoping to have a games server setup as well ! MVA - is a great resource, As it has helping with one of my college units, As i was reading up on Server 2012 /w HyperV and Live Migration, Which happened to briefly came up in a unit, Where i had to explain about Server Virtualization. Hi Guys, - Just to say i'm 18, and finishing my BTEC course this year - I'm coming to the end of my 2 year BTEC National - System Support & Networking Level 3 /w Cisco Kieran, I would suggest, Which do you prefer more, Hands on work, or coursework. Although i now kinda of wish i had taken the apprenticeship as i prefer working hands on, As to doing lots of units, However at my College, I have been offered the option to do some Cisco Discoveries, Which i have really taken to, and am about to finish Discovery 3 after Easter. Along with all that, Ive been looking into the MVA [Microsoft Virtual Academy] Mainly at the Server Virtualization, As i enjoy messing with Virtual Applications, and Game servers, and such However, After College - June 2013 - My Plan i to find a network technician job working in a school, As at the moment i'm working with a friend at a Primary School, Which i'm very much enjoying, Funnily enough he recommended this site to me, For Educations Jobs and such =) - Also a general question, My Dad has suggested that i should go to the local Job Center to see what they can offer to me, But as i know which field of ICT i wish to enter, Would you suggest that its a good idea, to take a look.
