I see your using an older version of the software, but not to worry, I’m sure you will update it in due course. I will have a think about the best way to do this....... The easiest answer I can give is simply pressing the power button on the laptop which will override all open applications and shut down. That is what we do here.

So far, I have successfully done the following and will release a new build tomorrow or Monday. FEATURE: Application Debugging New Config Option called "DebugApplication" has been created with default of 0 If you are having issues on startup change the option to 1, re-run EWP and please post the log file so I can see what is going on. Eventually the whole program will capture ALL events for debugging but for the time being its only startup. FIXED: Ordering or backup previous versions The the ordering in number order is being confused with the lack of a preceding 0 on single numbers. ADDED: Config option to display so many previous versions Config option "PreviousVersionsRecoveryMinutesDisplay" default 60 (In minutes only) FIXED: issues with all formatting reverting back to normal Formatting text options and line spacing options, including config double line spacing options would reset back to to normal after printing ADDED: More help on HELP Window Copy tips to help like CTRL-TAB will indent writing Still to do is: Spell Checker

Here you go: Monitor USB connections This is to detect any form of cheating by means of generating screenshots every 3 seconds as evidence. Set a new config option called "MonitorUSBDevices" to 1 for on and 0 for off. All screenshots are kept in the "\ProgramData" folder for example: "C:\ProgramData\ExamWritepad\ExamWritepad_USBMonitor". Yes it is possible, but timescales I could not give. It a massive project to do it, not to mention that grammar checking is also allowed with a scribe, so I would have to incorporate both. The short term answer is use Microsoft Word for scribe specific things where you know SPAG will be used. I can’t promise but I have delivered 99.9999% of what has been asked for [emoji1303][emoji1]

Hi, If you have not specified it in the config file, then the folder defaults to: c:\programdata\examwritepad With regards the access time in can put a config option in to set your own time not a problem, I will add it to the list. Regards Andy

The crash sometimes happens in older builds when the timer clock tries to return the correct date time. This was changed in later builds by using infinite looping and stop starts correctly for the date/time in the status bar. Please try v2.1.4.5 latest and the problem should disappear.

Oh yes I see, Ctrl+tab is a default for the rtf control is use for the writing window. I will add the note to the help section for future reference.

We make video/photos visible via our firefly VLE so that online parents of pupils in the school can view it. If needs be you can add a disclaimer notice that the videos/images are not to be shared on any other social platform due to privacy. If they decide to somehow download any image/video and share it then the school shouldn’t be liable.

As far as I’m aware the tab key should only work when tanning through the menu items or candidate info screen or other screens. It shouldn’t tab in the writing window. Can you be more specific with what you were trying to do to get the tab key working for what task? Thanks

What happens with the default settings config in place? Don’t have no config, or else it will use debug settings I use when testing.
