What is strange, is that I develop it on 1903, with dotnet 4.8 and it runs fine for me, Ive got a few vanilla VM builds of windows 10, so I will see what is happening across each version number up-to 1903. Report back soon.

Thanks for the kind words. :-) Ideally I would meed to see what the error was generated by captured video. But what I can say is who the popup location is determined. As soon as you left go of the mouse click, so on mouse up, the quick formatting popup appears top right of the cursor. Are you saying the popup window is not appearing wher it should be?

Please seek an administrator who can un-install it for you. Otherwise you are little stuck :-)

Can you uninstall 4.8 on one PC, install 4.7,2 and 4.8 manually.

How very strange. What if you you install 4.7.2 then 4.8 afterwards, does that fix the issue? Its worth a try....

If the issue is something else completely different then please run ProccessMon to see what is thrown up that might be stopping EWP from loading. Also what might be interesting to know is if you download the older 2.6 version from the website, does that still run? If so then, the .Net4.8 is not the issue. Look closer to GPO restrictions for the answer.

We run it fine on a heavily restricted pupil user account for exams and never had an issue.

Do you have AppLocker policies on your network? If so make sure you have allowed EWP to run. Especially if you apply the hashing rule, thus you would need to re-hash the exe file. What we do here is allow all execution from a specified folder, saves in hazing all the time etc.... it just works

Hi All, Is anyone using EWP on an RM network successfully? I have on school that is struggling to run it on there network even with full domain admin access. Did you have to do anything special to get it to run, please share your knowledge[emoji1] Thanks

Thanks for reporting these issues, I have placed them in the bug tracker on the EWP website. I will go ahead and fix them asap, so that I can release a new build of EWP in the first week of October.

The main reason for changing the look and feel was down to the fact that the exam boards do state in their guidence that it should be 'the normal way of working', so based on this, I've replicated it as best I can to what Microsoft Word looks like so it fullfills the exam boards requirements. I will say it now before someone asks.. :-)

Cunninghams have sorted out the issue. If you need help I can provide via PM the email of the person who was competent enough to sort out the issue. Or you could raise a support ticket via their website and they will get back to you, just like I did.

I made a mistake in my first response, I didn’t realise the PC was still in Win7, but have since installed Win10 and it doesn’t work. So I’ve sent a support request to Cunninghams and they are sending me new driver for our 4500 scanner tomorrow. If all goes well I can post the driver link..

Try activating using command line. This is now how I do it along with Windows when building new PCs.

When we hosted our firefly we had to create a UDF called FFUsername.
