Thanks. I try what they suggested in the post but the printer still not showing. All 4 printers have no jobs in the queue. God I hate win 8!

Thanks but I did delete all the printers from the registry. I have also tried to delete the printers from the devices and printers. Didn't work. I try to right click on the printer but there isn't an option to run as administrator neither in the control panel. I think its to do with the fact that this laptop isnt in the domain. I managed to add a printer but funnily it doesn't show up in the devices and printer. However when i print from Word I can see it and print from it too.

Morning guys. Im having trouble removing some printer from a win 8 laptop. This laptop isn't joint to the domain and these printer are kinder half way added to the laptop. Im unable to remove them as this laptop has no right to do this. I used to be able to add school printers to win 7 laptops for non school laptops but it seems like win 8 is a bit diff. Any ideas how to remove these printers? Thanks

Good morning guys. I'm having problems with some laptops. When you log in with a roaming or mandatory profile the fn key s become alive and you need to manually press fn and the NumLk key to get rid of it. Once I restarted the laptop the problem came back. When I logged in with the administrator account the keyboard was behaving normally. Any ideas? The laptop is an RM mobile one 300. We have 15 of them but only some experiencing this issue. Thanks

Hi guys. I’m having problems with some win 8 dell vostro laptops loging on wirelessly to the system. Teachers said that it takes ages to log on for the student who have mandatory profiles. Which one of these events should I look into that cause such a problem? Roaming pcs? Do you mean used by roaming profiles? Because they are used by teachers who have roaming profiles. Thanks

Im trying to reboot the pc in safe mode but doest give me that option. I pressed F8 before startup but that gives me the boot selection only. F2 for Bios and F3 was something else. How do you boot xp in safe mode?

I've disabled the windows firewall already but made no diff. I have sophos installed. Could it be that?

Hi guys. Im having some problem with an old XP home edition machine. Basically I can't get online. The LAN connection is okay. I even get windows updates and updates for malawarebytes but when I go online it's just says Internet explorer cannot display the page. I had Sp3 installed so I removed that but made no difference.
