I have a few computer startup scripts which are not working in Windows 10. I haven't got the error to hand but eventvwr basically states it could not run them. Anyone else seeing this problem?

Worked for me (although I forgot to take some out I don't want!)

So I did this: Built image on workgroup from SCCM, with administrator password set Logged in as administrator Ran Get-AppxPackage *3d* | Remove-AppxPackage to delete all the packages I di not want Ran Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -PackageName Microsoft.Zune.xxx333.444.xxxx (etc) for each package I didn't want. And Syspreped Test now is what will a new user get when they sign in.

I've only used Remove-AppxPackage so far, not used the provisioned command yet

I've managed to remove apps and sysprep. I've now reconnected to net and doing updates and will try capture after that.

What apps are people removing?

My new machine has sysprepped but I made sure that didn't touch the internet. Gonna try removing apps and try again

I'm getting the exact same error but I didn't try to remove any apps. Was the machine kept away form the internet?

I would put it in an OU and block inheritance. That way you know all the RM rubbish shouldn't get installed on it

So, if I understand what people have said: 1) VLAN is given an IP address. Also assigned a Gateway. The gateway is given to the clients on that vlan (by whatever method used) 2) Layer 3 switch is setup the same way but also have static routes. These tell the VLANs how to see each other Do I sound even a little bit correct?

OK get that. Next question - how does the VLAN know the IP of the layer3 switch?

It seems a lot of us are doing VLANs this summer with all the questions popping up, so sorry but here is another. What I don't understand with VLANs is how the gateway works. Assume I assign the IP range 192.168.1.0/24 to VLAN1 - what should the gateway be? Should it be the IP address of the Layer3 switch? Any explanation would be great. Feel free to explain the whole process

Looking at the prices for Azure backup it looks to be a very attractive solution. However I'm finding it hard to find info like how long files remain backed up for if deleted on the local machine, or if you can skip certain file formats etc. Anyone use it?
