Set the AD up right and it doesn't matter what domain you have - either in AD or Office 365. Powershell commands should not needed when syncing users

I wouldn't use school.co.uk but create a subdomain like academy.school.co.uk

I've done it three times in the last 6 months. All went well except for some machines that were not on site and didn't update to the new domain when they were brought back in. Not sure what else I can say really

Our FQDN is (for example) academy.school.co.uk and this is all working OK etc. We own the domain school.co.uk and can browse websites on that domain. I want to redirect computers on the domain to a website that is hosted internally via domin name. Externally the website is accessible via external.school.co.uk - and this works fine. In school however this does not work and according to SWGfL this is how it is designed. So I need to configure DNS to point external.school.co.uk to redirect to the internal IP. If i create a school.co.uk Forward lookup Zone then it'll work - but that then stops getting to anyother school.co.uk web page (i.e. [http://www.school.co.uk) without me adding lots of DNS entries. So how can I do this. I want one website on the school.co.uk to redirect to an internal IP, and the rest to go out onto the internet. Any ideas?

I don't see the problem with leasing. If you use a good leasing company normally it will work out cheaper than buying outright but you don't own the kit. You give it back after X years If you had a 5 year lease and all equipment had a 5 year warranty then you could just pay X amount per year knowing in 5 years time you will all new kit again. Who wants to keep anything over 5 years anyway!

They will be two difference playback devices so if Windows is configured to use HDMI the 3.5mm playback (probably Realtek) won't output.

I have been asked to setup a laptop that is not on the domain to print to our Follow Me printers via Papercut Currently only domain based machines can print. There is another machine in the school that is off the domain that can print and it appears to have papercut client installed on it. Is this what I have to do to enable printing from the workgroup machine?
