Hi I am currently looking for an alternative to LAN Ranger. This product lets use see all pc on the domain, log off users and restart, shutdowen all pc on the domain. Software deployment is not a problem appdeploy, gpo. Thanks

Hi I am having problems with ldap moodle login. The error I am gettings is: LDAP-module cannot connect to any servers: Server: 'ldap://ipaddress Connection: 'Resource id #50' Bind result: '' Can Anybody help? Thanks

Hi I want to import users into moodle ubuntu 9.10. If I setup LDAP will this import all the users into moodle? If so how do you set this up if this is a teacher or a student? Is it possible to import the groups from (sims) and link them to ad account? Thanks

Hi I have installed Ubuntu 9.10. I have installed moodle. I now want users to be able to connect top this from a windows 2008 domain from any pc. Do I need to add Ubuntu to the windows network? (how do I do this) Thanks

Ok here goes... So I have setup a moodle installation, I now want to add users. What options would people use? AD single sign on live@edu single sign on Is it possible to use AD and then when they are logged into moodle via sso they can the automatically get there live@edu mail. Thanks

Ok, I have just looked in var/www its not in there... I have had a look in usr folder not there? it was in the usr/share/moodle?? why has it installed there?? Thanks

HI there I am in the process of setting up moodle. I want to import all the users from sims.net and courses. I also want to provide Windows Share Web Client home drives etc etc. Has anybody done this? Also could I just ask which linux platform to run this on? Thanks

Hi I have a floder that I would like to copy all the files and folder to a remote server and then just keep the latest 5 dasys in the original and the remote. I this possible to 1, move the new files to the romote location 2, clean up both locations to remove old files? Thanks

Hi I have deoployed a background via gpo. I have an issue when users lock there pc it defaults to there original background. How can we control the Locked background image? Thanks

Hi the only problem is that when the user logs on they get the gpo. If they are not on the network they cant find the gpo which will say look c:\...... Thanks

Hi I have deployed a gpo for the background image of all staff machines. The only problem is that when the laptops leave the network the background goes to black. Is there any way to change this? The background is on the server, how would I overcome this? Thanks

Hi I have a gpo to change the background and stop users changing it. The only problem I am having is that users can still right click on an image in ie and firefox and set as desktop background? The other problem is that When a users locks there pc its not the correct background? Thanks
