Hi Please can you tell me how people are deploying printer. We are havimg problems with printers following users in diffrent rooms. I need a robust solution to deploy the printer and drivers, and finally set as default. We are using papercut at the school. Thanks

Hi I am setting up a staff shared area on the network. I have given everybody full control on the share and NTFS I have given the groups permissions. Is this the correct way. I have tested this as a pupil and they are unable to get to the share. Thanks

Hi We are looking to migrate the file server to a new server. I am planning to use robocopy but they are so many commands, could somebody point me what switches I need to copy all files and take permissions with them. The plan is to move the files and run again to to copy everything that has changed. Thanks in advance

Don't you have to delete/ remove the namespace from AD? We have server 2008, we want to remove this as we are moving it to virtual and won't need dfs because we have replication? Thanks

Hi After having dfs working we have now decided to remove the dfs namespace and servers but keep the shares. Please could somebody point me in the right direction? Thanks

Hi We are having problems with printers in our network. We have a mixture of different printers, canon photocopiers, brother laser jets etc. We use roaming profile for students and sometime when they log into machines they have no printers or printers from different rooms. How do others deploy printers to computers and not users? Thanks
