The Sandman S02E03. After decades waiting to see "A Midsummer Night's Dream" adapted for the screen I guess it was always going to be hard to match my expectations but squidging it into a flashback totally failed to do it justice. It's a shame for the ladies involved and, selfishly, for fans of Neil Gaiman's work that he allegedly appears to be such a bad 'un leading to multiple books of the source material having to be condensed into one season.

Bit late to the party, but I finally got around to Adolescence on Netflix. The first episode was incredibly powerful but I felt the other three could not live up to that and, whilst always incredibly well acted, never managed to live up to it. I'm not sure the insights into incel culture were particularly "eye-opening" and would have appreciated more of a sense of closure. Hard to say more without spoilers. Worth a watch though.

Nope (but do have DKIM etc set up). I think it's because it's me via SendGrid. I just had a quick look at the settings, and it mainly looked at default level. I was surprised I could see as much as I could as we're on the cheapskate tier.

Almost Cops AKA Bad Boa's (Netflix) Possible NSFW language in trailer Ramon is an easy going CSO/BOA in Rotterdam, but when his half-brother cop is killed he and his new partner decide to search for the killers. Fun Dutch action comedy, though it won't do much for Rotterdam's tourist industry. Not sure if the Grocer's Apostrophe is OK in Dutch. The Accountant² (Prime Video) Christian Wolff is back. This time he and his brother are trying to work out why Ray King was killed. A step up from the first film. Affleck seems to be giving better "autistic", though his freshly frozen face may be helping there.

I had to check that Uwe Boll wasn't on the comeback trail!

The problem I would have here is that the lesson plan calls for an uploaded project to be used. I guess, if we had access to our filter* and (more to the point) advance notice, we could block projects except for the needed one/s. *Without filling in request forms.

I thought the circled date indicated that they update the ISO periodically. The download size definitely changes.

I don't sysprep any more either. Not quite as advanced as @synaesthesia - it's all installed by GPO, but it's great just swapping out the ISO every so often for the latest version, taking minutes, rather than almost starting from scratch.

The Old Guard 2 (Netflix) Andy and her team find themselves up against her old fried Quynh and a hitherto unknown immortal, Discord. OK action movie, but not as good as the first. From what I've read, apart from Andy's im/mortal status the first film was fairly close to the comics. However this movie goes very off book and then has to make a nonsensical retcon to sort out that problem. Plus it ends on a major cliffhanger. Jurassic World Rebirth (Cinema) Dinos are now more or less confined to an equatorial band by oxygen and heat levels. An evil phrma corp needs three samples from three big types of dino and assembles a team to get them. Along the way they pick up a family who were making a transatlantic yacht journey. Fairly efficient action thriller with great effects. It's hard to sympathise with a father who thinks it's fine to take his two daughters into dino-infested waters and the movie also features a nonsensical but, plot-wise, understandable retcon. One of the better entries in the series and probably worth a trip to see it on the big screen if you're a fan.

Heads of State (Prime Video) Exactly the action comedy the trailer promises, but a bit better than I thought it would be. If you liked the trailer well worth a look, though the casting makes it obvious who the real baddie is.

Sequel to the better than expected Ice Road takes place in Nepal. No Amber Midthunder, but Liam Neeson does eventually get to tackle an ice road.

After the apocalypse treasure hunters track down the world's greatest works of art. Trailer has lots of swearing and OTT violence: NSFW!

So something could be up for 24 hours (probably linger at the weekend) depending on people reporting it and we all know that teachers live in the Everybody/Somebody/Nobody/Anybody story. Plus I can't see them pulling horror games which aren't suitable for KS1/2.

I contacted the head, deputy and DSL about the problem and with the potential workaround of using the offline editor yesterday afternoon. None of them has bothered to respond.

The problem is that the lesson plans state going to the site and staff are not prepared to adapt by, say, downloading the project and working from that.

What moderation? FREE SPEECH is what it's all about. I used to have it blocked after reports of "Hey Step-bro? I'm stuck!" games on there. Then a lesson plan that couldn't possibly be adapted to the installed version was used and I was ordered to unblock it. Maybe this time...

M3GAN 2.0 (Cinema) After the events of the first film Gemma has turned into an anti-AI evangelist, moving her firm towards exoskeletons that can be used to help human workers keep up with the inevitable increased use of a robotic workforce. She is still fiercely protective of Cady, but is neglecting her and her company to deliver lectures on the problems of AI. When it turns out that someone has managed to get fold of MEGAN's source code and used it to create an assassinbot that has Gemma and Cady in its sights, only one thing can save them: MEGAN 2.0. This is very much the T2 to the original's "Terminator" with Megan turning mainly good. It's much more humorous though and, for me, much more enjoyable. Unfortunately it seems that it's not doing so well financially; we were the only ones in an admittedly early showing. Mme LeMarchand, who hasn't seen the first (I only saw it on streaming) and isn't interested in doing so actually wanted to see this and also enjoyed it. Guess we must be outliers.
