Do you know if the board has had a hard impact over the last little while? that makes me think that the board is damaged. The board is detecting multiple inputs. I may however be totally wrong in this matter. Let me know. D

Hi All I am looking at mirroring andriod devices on our computers, i have been told this is possible with the screen mirroring app that comes on most of the android phones/tables. What i am looking for is what software you use on the actual computers to get this to work... Any ideas and tips would be greatly appreciated. We have a win 7 environment. Thanks in advance David

We have this problem from time to time and we are finding out that the GPO settings are not being updated if the computer has been up for a long period of time. We ended up reimaging the lab and it seems to have come right. as to the exact problem i have no idea.... Other then getting the computers to shut down every night.....

We have 2 Domain Servers but one domain. Everyone connects to it. We have both static and roaming profiles. The staff and the students have vastly diffrent permissions. It runs smoothly. -
Thin client in primary schools
ninjashadow replied to nicholab's topic in Thin Client and Virtual Machines
We did. They lasted about 2 years then we pulled them out. We found that normal towers were better in our lab environment then the thin clients -
i would agree. As someone that has taken the N+ test there are so many questions that could be one of 2 or even 3 answers. For the record i would have said A, (i probably did when i took the test.) But that seems the only logical answer, unless you have another device to go to the manufactures website then it would be b, but there is nothing in the question about another device.. my 2c worth

Im on 4.3 on my s3 and i have noticed that it is slightly slower but has more functionality. On average it is using about 200mb more mem then 4.1.2. I however like the new UI, but that is a personal taste.

lol now now whats your price for whacking people:bowl: on a serious note we wont copy the movies onto our system unless they have the correct number of physical copies to allow them to do what they want. And as ive learned in the tech support field always get stuff in writing otherwise things can go very sideways on you. And your 2p is valued

pc dropping packets when pinging websites
ninjashadow replied to jaanvar's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
It could be either, have you got a traceroute of your pings? also the other computer is it in the same location as the first problem computer was, if so then it could be a switch,- 6 replies

pc dropping packets when pinging websites
ninjashadow replied to jaanvar's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
Have you tried taking the computer out of that room and then trying to ping websites? if you still get the dropped packets then its more then likely the network card, Try installing a new one or you can replace the motherboard. Best of luck with this issue D- 6 replies

Good Day All that are more wise and experenced then I. I wonder if anybody else has come across this issue and has a solution. I am looking at deploying Italc2 to a number of my labs (2 for starters) While i have been doing the prrof of concept i have discovered that when you lock the computer either from the client or from the master(by going start> lock) The computer locks, However the only way i have found to then unlock the computer is from the client its self, as on the master whem you go ctrl alt del it give you the message of wanting to change password launch task manager etc Any views on this matter would help Kind Regards Davi
