  1. Thanks for you help tho. Much appreciated.
  2. Was numerous emails including ones to link2ict. That i know definitely work. Had to log call with Microsoft.
  3. Check to see what version of ie they are using. May need to upgrade to a later version.
  4. In the message trace report I searched for failed messages for the two users most commonly affected. Under recipient status the messages that failed show as removed@emailaddress##Receive, Fail; Once again thanks for your help.
  5. The user account seems okay. Trace report is back. Is there anything specific I should be looking for.
  6. The only changes the business manager has made was to add new users to group emails such as allstaff.
  7. Hi mightymrp, thanks so much for your help. I have checked the rules but there were none there. I have currently requested a message trace report for two users with know issues and I am awaiting for the report to be generated. Any other ideas meanwhile?
  8. I have Office 365 at one of my schools. The staff have recently started to get the following error message when sending out emails: Requested rejected your message to the following email. (removed) Requested gave this error: Denied by policy. Tried to search for a solution but struggling to make sense of the solutions given on Google. Any help would be very appreciated.
  9. Hi guys, The shortcut reads http://curricsvr1:9675/portal The service is switched on. I'm suspecting that it's an issue with the proxy but not sure. Thanks.
  10. Hi all, Having problems with Spiceworks. Installed on the server and works fine but the shortcut pointing to it on staff desktops doesn't work. Birmingham City Council School. Any ideas? Thanks
  11. Hi, Thanks for the advise. I change the location of the machine and the websites and emails seem okay. however when I try to ping the default gateway and google packets are dropping. I got the use to login on a different machine packets are still dropping. I have then noticed that when logged in as admin packets from another pc packets are still dropping. Are they one issue or two different ones?
  12. Hi Chazzy2501, Thanks for your reply. When I ping google.co.uk I get 75% packets dropped. It was the same when I pinged the default gateway. However it is only the one PC that is doing this all the others are fine. Is it still worth power cycling? Thanks
  13. Hi all, This is my first post so please excuse any mistakes or obvious questions etc. I am a fairly inexperienced technician so I am in learning a lot each day. My current problem is that in a school the business administrators PC is struggling to connect to websites and just hangs a lot of the time and is very slow. This happens intermittently. I have tried pinging pc's on our network and they are fine but when I tried pinging websites I found that I am losing up to 75% of packets. Any ideas? Thanks
