I started to migrate exchange 2003 to 2010 many many months ago and only got so far through the process before getting sidetrack with other issue. I have moved all the mailboxes over, we don't use public folders, I have OWA working and everything else seems fine, BUT, when I turn off the old mail server (2003) no mail comes through, even though my Barracuda Spam filter appliance has the 2010 mail server set as it's destination. When I switch on the 2003 server mail flows again, so I am obviously missing a step. Anyone point me in the right direction? Many Thanks.

Strange problem started, Attendance officer tries to open tutor reg sheets in lesson monitor with Session and Lessons ticked but SIMS crashes with: If she just opens tutor groups using Sessions only it open fine, just not with Sessions and Lessons. Any ideas

We use group policy to start it up. Computer - Policies - Administrative Templates - System/Logon - Run these programs at user logon - c:\Program Files\PaperCut NG\pc-client.exe Start every time.

Do you honestly believe that on a major issue that could bring down the government it would happen or would laws just be forced through to protect it. Name one major thing that any government has been successfully prosecuted over? You see what is happening in Israel or the illegal rendition flights in UK, or Tony Blair taking the country to war under false pretense? What happened, nothing.

Because I really do not fear it, I am currently under the Official Secrets act, I am not allowed to travel to certain countries as are all people who leave the armed forces (well those who didn't read the small print may not be aware ) so maybe I am just a bit more conditioned to no privacy

I don't think it's a case of not fighting I think the problem is that even if they u-turned on the visible policy it would still carry on regardless, I for one do not care what they snoop on as I have nothing really to hide.

There has not been privacy on the net for over a decade, I am not attacking people for wanting privacy I am stating that privacy does not exist, Ad Hominen only counts if I attack the person not the argument, seeing as there is no argument about there being no privacy on the net, Ad Hominem is not valid. If you can prove that there is privacy on the net from the likes of the NSA/GCHQ then by all means display it. Until that point my statement stands. Keep drinking Cool aid? At the end of the day if people want to believe that they have privacy go for it, but don't be disappointed when you find out that it is a fallacy in the same way that people found out that exact fact on the TOR network, do a bit of research.

Not Ad Hominem at all, just plain simple truth, there is no argument about it there is no privacy on the net or phones simple as that. It may not be right but it is not going to stop happening and it is not going to go away so don't expect privacy. How do you think they foil so many terrorist plots. Also read up about how the US intercepted switches etc from major vendors on their delivery route, modify the firmware, repackage the product and send it on it's way to the customer. I think any additions to the law are irrelevant, anyone who thinks they have any privacy on the Net or phones is an idiot tbh. These laws just legalize what they are doing in secret and have been doing in secret for decades.

I have just had a New Nimble CS220 delivered along with a new Dell Blade system. It's our first real proper storage/Visualization system, always used cheap NAS before.

I don't swear on here, I am just opposed to censorship

Personally I do not see how swearing is a problem, have a toggle on the site for a profanity filter, those then with sensitive ears can then protect them without censoring those who do not care. And I am sure that the Big Wigs who take "a very close interest in what we say" will still do so regardless of swear words. This is the IT professional's lifeline after all, not the Big Business selling platform, unless things have changed

Interesting problem this morning, Cover Supervisor reports Sims hangs when going to save changes made in Cover. This started yesterday and the only thing we have done is upload the Census fileset. Repeatable on every machine including the server. Anyone else experienced this problem? Many Thanks
