  1. There's reports that the driver blacked out / was asleep.
  2. Having the option to charge to personal account is useful if you sell printer credits for personal use. For example, allowing staff to print their own documents but pay out their own pocket.
  3. @rich_tech When you say it isn't working, is it just that mail isn't sending? Have you tried it through command line to test? You will need to use whatever address you've used as outbound authentication (smtp@ in this case) as the sender address for it to work. So all your devices will need to send as smtp@. At least I believe that is the case.
  4. Probably traffic hitting it? "Tycoch-based staff are to attend a briefing in the main hall at Tycoch at 10am on Monday. Please wear casual clothes." Sounds like staff will be clearing up?
  5. You will likely have to recreate your DNS entries unless you're using a third party service to manage DNS in which case once the domain is within Vidahost just point the NS at whatever service. As for changing the IPSTAG, your current provider will have to do that. Sign up with Vidahost so they expect your domain then get the tag changed.
  6. Does cPanel control your MX Records then somehow?
  7. What happened? Edit: Oh I think I see why. https://www.engadget.com/2016/10/27/uk-pricing-new-macbook-pros/
  8. So Capita have suddenly decided they would charge, despite this being out there for years with no sniff of a charge, or have I misunderstood?
  9. I believe there's a big difference in price between those two options?
  10. Had very positive experience with Lightspeed MDM and they're constantly improving it. It'll do probably everything Meraki does I'm sure. Apple really control what MDM's can do. Also happy to answer any specific questions.
  11. Still incredibly ugly in design.

    CCTV

POE cameras so there's only single cable runs?
  13. It's very much still a product and Microsoft announced at Ignite further integration with Office365 to make Yammer less 'separate'.
  14. I was just suggesting that if they come out and find the machine has been upgraded beyond what they've supplied, that would be the point at which they could end the service agreement. It would be irrelevant who did it. They could just argue its been modified outside of their support agreement and that is that. I'm not saying I agree. I'm just saying how it *could* come to light.
  15. When they stick a new £5 in and it works?
  16. How did you calculate what was lesson plans?
  17. No, the database is all online so the software connects to their database. This is instead of your local database syncing with their database. All it means is you need internet connectivity to be able to use SCO and if their database goes down it stops the software working. Everything you do in SCO is live on their database. Any payments that come in are displayed instantly. There's no waiting for the transactions to download/upload.
  18. Yes. There is no sync.
  19. Worth going through and actually unsubscribing from the mailing lists too, rather than just deleting.
  20. You're probably paying for development time within the cost of the tills too.
  21. Where are you buying these?
  22. @EduTech Any ideas?
  23. Is it possible to set delivery restrictions on these? Such as who can send messages to them. It keeps stating that it needs to be managed in AD when I try to use the portal.
  24. Within the account properties you can grant full access to other users.
  25. What sort of problems do you see? It's relatively easy to open up PARS externally.
