I am trying to RIS a Lenovo N200 but everytime i try and select the RIS image i get the error: The operating system image you selected does not contain the necessary drivers for your network adapter. Try selecting a different operating system image. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator. I have been reading the Broadcom website and researching but i have performed everything but nothing has worked. I created a folder called $oem$ \ $1 \ Drivers \ Nic I had this error on a computer and followed the normal procedure created the $oem$ and modyfying the riprep.sif file and it worked. No did not work.

I have created a Mandatory profile which removes the up level button from the toolbar. The way i did that was removed the profile path from a user in AD, turned off disable customisation of toolbars in group policy. I then logged on with that user removed the necessary things from the toolbar. Logged off, then copied that profile to server and then mapped a user to the new profile path, i logged that user in and the up level button had disappeared great!!!!! But when i went basck into Group Policy to turn the setting Disable toolbar customisation to enable. The up one level icon re-appeared. The only way i can get it to come back is by disabling toolbar customisation in group policy, but then it is pointless because the users can customise the toolbar by going to the view menu. Is there any way i can solve this or is there away i can disable the view menu. Hope sonmeone can help. I'm having such a nightmare lately!! Faza

I want to redirect My Documents to the My Documents folder within their home folder. I understand with Mandatory profiles it will not be there. But before we moved over we had roaming profiles which created the My Documents folder so i would really like it redirected to that My Documents folder if poss.

But we used to have roaming profiles and most of the profile folders including My Documents arwe still present in the pupils home folder. Can i just redirect the My Documents to the My Documents in their home folder??

No because i turned off Offline files.

I do keep them separate is there a way that i can redirect it to the other folder?

No it did not work all they got was the desktop, No My Documents

Hello All, I am trying to redirect My Documents to the pupils My document on the server in their home folder. I just wanted to know what i put into Group Policy %USERPROFILE%\MY DOCUMENTS I am thinking that this will not work as we have Mandatory profiles.

It is through Windows Explorer

In group policy is there a way where, when you open explorer you can disable the up button from showing.

richardp - When a user double clicks on programs explorer still opens.

Its still happening :-(

We have a serpate apps server and the shortcuts go to that server

Its so hard just tio remove the servers from the list so pupils cant access them or see them.
